For me it is all about Firefly, no question.

But will second, or is third, Eli Stone.

I wish Band of Brothers would have went longer. I think Tom Hanks ended the war far too early. Killed off far too many characters as well, hard to follow at times.

Any show NBC wouldn't allow to have the time to find it's viewers /rant

Most have already been mentioned, Studio 60, AD, Freaks & Geeks and my biggest one, Deadwood

Only one that hasn't been mentioned, Heroes. It wasn't very good at times, but if they kept working on it, it could have been great.

I've held a grudge against that show ever since.

I'd love to get my hands on those episodes and see how bad they really were versus the awesomeness that's in my memories.

I didn't watch it at the time but Firefly ended too early, as did Arrested Development.
I loved that show. Every time there is a cop drama with one of the guys from high incident it makes me sad.

I'll add another vote for Clone High - the most quotable-in-real-life-meme show since the Simpsons as far as I was concerned.

Also: House of Buggin. I don't even remember if it was good, I just wanted to see more of it.

I watched that all the time in (I believe) Jr. High. Same with Mission Hill and The Oblongs (it had Will Farrell! --> mind blown). All of them only had the 1 season of like 10 episodes.

Oh Teletoon, how I miss your late nights.

I cannot remember watching the show, as I was 6 or 7. But after watching all 6 episodes of 'Police Squad'.... how in gods green earth was that show cancelled? Some have said the comedy was way ahead of it's time. But damn. It would have been like getting a mini sequel to Airplane!, the funniest film in the history of ever... every frikkin week. I know we got the Naked Gun films, but man this was some funny stuff.

For the unaware, all the episodes can be watched on youtube:

Epilogues are the best:

Re-watched this recently. The helicopter scenes are all still awesome.

Ugh, I was glad to see it cancelled, in fact they should have canned the last episode and ended it with the Mirror Universe arch.

It was a tepid and weak Star Trek Show.

A show that might have ended too soon was Angel, the last season was exceptionally good and could have had a lot of story lines coming out of it but it was canceled, and all of the main characters were killed.

I watched enough Angel while a friend was working his way through the DVDs that I know I never want to see it all. You did me a favor, really.

Does this count?

I really enjoyed the animated Napoleon Dynamite series when it was on Fox last year. I don't think it made it past half a dozen episodes and it did not get renewed for the new season.
