I don't think it was a bad stoppage, more of an early stoppage. Does that make it a bad one, maybe, maybe not I'm not sure but I don't think that fight would have gone 60 seconds longer
I don't think Dillashaw deserves a rematch at that the weight, he had his chance and just because he wants to be the champ champ doesn't mean he deserves it. Holding up his division because you lost isn't right. If he wants the rematch than do it at his weight class and with his belt on the line.
Early stoppage or not, he lost. He put himself in a very dangerous position that a referee had to make a decision to stop the fight for his safety. As much as a fighter doesn't want to hear it I would rather a ref error on the side of safety than have a fighter landing 3 hard punches to an unconscious opponent. A perfect ref we have neither

GSP is expected to officially announce his retirement tomorrow. He was hoping to secure a fight with Khabib but that didn't work out.

UFC star Conor McGregor has been arrested in South Florida for smashing the cellphone of someone who was trying to take his photo, according to authorities.
According to a Miami Beach police report, the 30-year-old McGregor was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with strong-armed robbery and criminal mischief, both felonies.
McGregor previously entered a plea deal in Brooklyn, New York, last summer stemming from an incident at Barclays Center on April 5, when he was caught on video throwing a metal dolly into the window of a bus stationed inside the loading dock. The plea required McGregor to keep a clean record for one year, as well as serve five days of community service and attend an anger management program.

Sounds like a drunk brat kinda thing to do on McGregors part. I don't like the guy but it's hard to see him get reprimanded by the UFC for this. The bus incident shows that the UFC will do anything to capitalize off it's stars.

He has bigger issues than the UFC.
He is on "probation" from his asinine outburst last year that could cost him his plea deal, and end up with him being deported.

Stand-up citizen. He's the reason why I don't watch MMA anymore; it became about the show and less about the athletics - even when there are really good fighters out there that don't cause drama.

Was always like that as well, but my guess you might have been roped into the GSP thing

I mean Floyd is literally a woman beater who earned more than half a billion after the fact. Conor is some ways is following that blueprint, make yourself so polarizing that people will either buy your fight cause they love you, or because they wanna see you get KTFO. Either way they're spending that money.

Is it me or is the Bellator card this weekend equally or more appealing than the UFC card? There's also the added bonus of not having to listen to Joe Rogan if I watch Bellator.

I like both cards and will be watching both, but I'm still more excited about the UFC card because I'm a fan of Namajunas and Aldo. Wanna see Anderson get at least one more win too.
If it helps, I don't think Rogan will be doing commentary. He never does any PPV's outside the US these days. Will probably be Cormier and/or Cruz.
Jack Swagger/Jake Hager's opponent for tomorrow is an absolute unit

Surprised by your dislike of Rogan's call. No need to defend it, Not everyone suits everyone for sure.
Which colour guy do you prefer out of curiosity?

I like some of the fighters that do it like Edgar and Meia. Joe Rogan just never shuts the #### up and he gets pretty grating over a 3 hour period.
