Not the match up 'Hawks fans were hoping for. Though Colorado is an excellent team, the 'Hawks have some wins against them. They were 1-1(-1) against both, this season, but, the 1 win against Vegas has been the only win against them over their existence. Perhaps, in the sterile confines of the Bubble, the 'Hawks could figure out a strategy for victory. But, in Vegas' terms, 'Hawks will be massive underdogs.

Knights in 5. Chicago steals game 1 then LV wakes up.

Part of me wants the upset. Part of me wants the Hawks to get destroyed because the potential Oiler fan meltdowns it will cause. The team beating you making a run is easier to swallow. Not so much when they immediately get dummied in the real playoffs.

An easy one for most playoff caliber teams.

I didn't think the Hawks were overly impressive against the Oilers. It's a major step up from the Oilers to the Knights and I'm not sure the Hawks have the defense and goaltending to make this a long series.

Knights in 6. Hawks will find a way to steal a couple of games, though VGK will probably dominate most of the series

RIP Chicago. Thank you for the assist in eliminating the Oilers. It will not be soon forgotten.

The only thing the Hawks have going for them is they are playing with ultimate house money. No expectation to do anything this year, and suddenly had an opportunity. I could see them ride that wave another round or two.

Goaltending?

Fun facts. Crawford has fifty-one (51) career playoff wins, most in Hawks history, and two (2) Stanley Cups

Yeah you can't call goaltending an issue with the Hawks. Crawford is still as good as ever, if not better. Health is his only question mark but he's been concussion-free for a little while now.

Based on how Vegas have played in the seeding round, I don't think Chicago stands a chance. I certainly respect the character on the Hawks, but Vegas is too deep. They're a much tougher opponent than the Oilers and will get better goaltending behind them. It would be truly shocking if Chicago could put them out. I hope they do though.

They're going to be hard-pressed to win more than a game I think, but I'll still cheer for the Hawks in this one. Beating the Oilers earned a lot of love from me.

I like a lot of players on the Hawks, but I hope they get punted in the most unceremonious way possible. Just to twist that dagger into the Oilers a little deeper.
