I know we already have multiple tv threads but there’s so much content that doesn’t fit into the Netflix, Prime, Disney+ or existing “I need a new tv show” thread.

I thought it would be good to have a general thread for discussion of existing and upcoming content on HBO, Crave movies and Crave streaming. I think there’s more than enough content worth discussing and only 1 or 2 shows seem to have their own threads.

I recently watched the 3 or 4 part series called Punk. A documentary on the origins and evolution of punk music. It was excellent. Tons of great interviews and discussion of the punk scene.

At the Heart of Gold was a disturbing documentary look at the abuse scandal/coverup involving many famous athletes involved in the USA Olympic gymnastics team.

I keep meaning to watch parts 3/4 of Catherine the Great but haven’t got around to it yet.

Haven’t even started His Dark Materials. Think I’ll wait until that one is done S1 to watch.

Just finished Castle Rock S1 and it was excellent. I believe S2 is ongoing.

Does anyone watch Ray Donovan or Shameless? I’m continually told both are must watch.

And coming this January.

I am enjoying the content so far, but looks like things kind of come and go without much notice (at least per Apple TV).

Maybe time to look at a Roku or something.

anyways, there is a lot of good tv out these days. People will tell me about shows that are much watch and I've never even heard of them.

I am about to watch all of the "Preacher" series since it is wrapping up after the current season.

The first season of Preacher is very slow. Almost just worth watching the first and last episodes of the season.

And then the series goes on meth and crack.

I heard Matt Damon was gonna be in the movie about this. Fascinating story.

Here’s the original article about it.

Season 1 was super weird. John Malkovich makes S2 more interesting.

The Watchmen series is amazing. One of my favorite parts though is easily the music and score.

I just watched The Leftovers which I had never heard of before. It was pretty solid.

Curb Your Enthusiasm returns tonight!

Also might watch the new Stephen King series The Outsider. Heard good things.

I’m trying to decide if Avenue 5 is worth a try. I’m a big fan of both Hugh Laurie and Zach woods but the trailers are not really doing it for me.

I had never seen an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm before Crave - hooked right from Ep. 1! Can't believe I slept on this but look forward to catching up - and surprised they're still making it!

I just watched the first season of Castle Rock.
I quite enjoyed it, although it was a little confusing.

Curb was true to form last night. Some real laugh out loud moments. Not sure about taking on the #metoo movement is going to make David any friends but it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.

I had high hopes for Avenue 5 last night, but it just didn't strike a note with me at all.

Letterkenny is probably one of my favourite shows at the moment. Some cringe worthy parts you can get up and get a beer during but all and all hilarious more so if you ever lived in a small town.

It ok, but honestly Barry is the best thing on TV in my opinion and reason to get Crave/HBO
