Yes, Vasek wins 6-3 6-4 playing some very tidy tennis today. He will next play the winner of John Millman vs. Gilles Simon (a very winnable match).

Felix will have to go the distance as Caruso takes the opening set 6-4. Felix had one poor service game and that was the difference.

Caruso takes it 6-4 6-4. At least Felix got his first ATP titles in doubles before the season ended, but as far as singles is concerned, 2020 was basically a lost season (started the year ranked #21 and that's how it ended).

Not a good season from FA at all. His return game has really taken a turn for the worst and he doesn't seem to be getting the message that you can't win with a bad serve and while also taking so many reckless shots.
It took Shapo a while, but he got it. Hopefully the coaching change will do wonders for FAs game next year.

Yeah, the return of serve needs to be improved (can't believe how many second serves he didn't get back in play today) and also just way too many unforced errors from run-of-the-mill rally balls. If you want to be in the top 10, you can't be spraying forehands and backhands with that much regularity.

According to the ATP website in the last 52 weeks Felix has been the 19th best server but only the 64th best returner. Not going to be a top player with those return numbers unless you have a Milos serve.
