Just looked at their schedule and they do have some tough matchups to finish up the year… the only non-playoff team they face is Detroit from here on out. But of the 4 teams fighting for the two remaining playoff spots (Penguins, Islanders, Capitals and Flyers)… the penguins are playing the best hockey right now… that can be the difference that gets them in over others. Although, we as flames fans know what a grind it is to be in that spot at this time of year… every game is so critical. Every win feels tempered and every loss feels devastating.

No way shots are 4-1 this period already. Oh Edmonton shot counters.

####ing hypocrites!!! But Tkachuk bad to fight Caveman after a couple of clean hits a couple of years back. Something about the code as every Oiler fan was quick to point out.

Pps 3 to 1 for the Oilers. Sounds right.

Ekholm pulls his pad open. Good goal though because Edmonton I assume.

That's fair. Outside the blue paint.

Still think COL isn't even close to down and out here. Oilers getting lots of help and luck and they need every bit of it.

That same play happens for Calgary, it's no goal 12/10 times.

Someone needs to rock McDavid the way Ekholm hit Rantanen.

Agreed.

If the Avs won't do it tonight, Pospisil will tomorrow

12 pp mins on the first 30 with a lucky bounce goal and they're only up by 1. Colorado has this still.

Just realized that Colorado is on a back-to-back, while the Coilers had a day off yesterday. The amount of breaks Edmonton gets is unreal. It's just so ridiculous at this point.

And look at that, the PPs are 4-1 for the Oilers. What a shocker.

Cmon Colorado!!! You've let 2 of the biggest pricks in the game score on you. Wake the #### up and put these pretenders down.

Man, the Avs' heads just aren't in this one. They look totally out of sync.
