Man, those first 2 episodes were outstanding. Hands down the best series on TV right now.

It is an outright travesty Rhea Seehorn does not have an Emmy yet. Not even a nomination!

I love the slow burn of this show. And watching Kim and Jimmy's relationship head toward the abyss is sad but exciting.

I have a bad feeling getting disbarred will be the least of Kim's problems, being attached to Saul.

Tony Dalton (Lalo Salamanca) is doing great work in Season 5 too.
Real sad to see a broken Mike lose his temper with his sweet granddaughter.

I totally didn't get the significance of the poker scene until afterwards. Ocho loco, the birth of Krazy-8.
Mike's and Kim's ongoing battle with personal ethics and relationships is definitely heartbreaking. We already know where Mike ends up, but it will be interesting to see how that develops. Kim's a wildcard. She already has one foot out the door but will that be enough to save her?
Also, second the appreciation for Tony Dalton. He is absolutely nailing that character.

I'm going to be sad when this is over.
Sad for the characters seems like it's unavoidable, but sad for the void of such a good show being gone.
The gnome stealing meth head is familiar from something. Something drug related. Where's he from?

When Jimmy tells Kim that he couldn't resist offering the half price discount...powerful.
She knows he can't help it. Chuck told her he can't help it.
Jimmy tells her in that instance that he can't help it.
So sad.

Maybe there will be another spin-off - Gene said he was going to take care of things himself after being made at the mall.

So am I to get that he has been extracted a few time already by the cleaner?
Interested in what becomes of him. Is he wanted by the police or just hiding from the cartels? I would think if he was wanted by the cops, then mall guy would have said something?

He was told it was double the price, same as Jesse in El Camino. He's been cleaned once.
Saul probably practiced for many years while cabbie lived in ABQ, but left before fit hit the shan... It's still possible that James "Saul Goodman" McGill is
wanted and the cabbie is unaware.

They may have been implying that the cabbie is going to extort Saul over this.

The way jimmy was looking at him and the cops. The way he forced jimmy to say better call Saul, the way the guy reassured jimmy that his friend was cool. Jimmy is wanted by the police and the guy knew it. He was forcing jimmys hand without outright saying who he was , and it was purposeful. It couldn’t be anything other than setting him up for extortion in my opinion.

Great show, we watched all of it for the first time last summer so it's all very fresh and we're happy to be caught up. Lalo Salamenca is a great villain, just one of those guys who always seems right on the edge of going nuts.

Concerning the development of Krazy 8 a couple of couple of observations. Should probably spoiler for speculation.
Also, I would have swore that big girl at the meth apartment was the same girl who played the cashier in Breaking Bad but apparently not.

That's a really awesome observation. I think you're right.

Well that opening sequence with the ants was pretty wild.
Barry Corbin is looking every bit of his 79 years old.
In case anyone was wondering that is the same bar where Mike was sitting talking with Werner when he pointed out that picture and told him about his father building the Sydney Opera House.
Didn't see the Krazy 8 double agent thing coming but he had to become a CI somehow.

It's official, this is probably my favourite show of all time. It's beaten out Breaking Bad for me at this point
