I’ve always liked Conversation Street. It was the celebrity interviews and track times I couldn’t stand. Thankfully so far that’s gone!! I understand where you’re coming from though. Everyone likes and dislikes different things

I actually dont mind the track times now that they're not overdoing it.

The "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car" segment almost wore out my fast-forward button.

Agreed!! I like the track times. I was referring to "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car". That segment was terrible.

I found the celebrity race off added nothing to the show. I'd rather see them review a second car or such instead of that. Glad to see they've done away with it so far.

Decent episode this week. For those that don't like the overacted banter, watch the Alpine segment and fast forward to about 22 minutes and then enjoy the rest of the show.

I really enjoyed this episode. The Clark segment was the real highlight and well done

Alpine segment was great.

That's the kind of car porn i'm looking for.

I prefer segments with all 3 involved. Thought the lambo one was the weakest of the episode.

The Clark portion was really well done.

Another good episode, those roadways and bridges are just insane! If an earthquake ever happens....

Also enjoyed the segment and speed test with the Chinese electric supercar.

This episode was probably one of my favorite episodes in recent memory. I didn't realize how insane China was when it came to roadways. To think that all of that infrastructure and technology improvements was done in the last 50 (?) years is staggering. Those cameras seem like they could get really annoying though.

That's not 50 years, at best 20 or 30. I was there in 2000 and it was just starting to transition. It is really bonkers though, so many people.

I must say, the line that really got me was at the end when James May cant see right hand turns because of his Sauna.

Right up there with his chauffeur giving him crap for fogging his windows up.

I'd love to see the Translations of the Cadillac's German Warning Messages though.

Solid, solid episode.

So having recently found the grand tour can any of you suggest some of the specials from top gear that I should watch?

I prefer more of the 'films' like the china portion or the recent Columbia special.

Agreed!! TGT Columbia Special ranks right up there now. I have watched it a few times and always laugh at this part:

Solid suggestions along with the Polar trip, but the Burma trip was excellent as well.

Oh! India!

I just looked up the list of Top Gear Specials, the only ones I didn't care for as much were the 2 USA trips. Also, I can't even remember the first special at all which was the Winter Olympics, maybe I've never watched it.
