Shades of the Devils game in this period. Despite winning two straight, the Flames' defensive coverage lately has been pretty sub-par. Hopefully they can clean up their D zone play before the playoffs start.

I don't think so. He had a clear lane into the zone, he wouldn't choose to go down and hope for a call versus just skating in clean.

Anderson actually had more backing on that play though, and he was back. There was a guy in the clear far side and that was all Lindholm's fault. And the shot was from way outside. It wasn't exactly a blunder that led to a clear breakaway.
