The loss is whatever.

But I really can't help but shake the feeling they missed an opportunity to sell high on Markstrom.

Why wasn't the goalie pulled with that o-zone faceoff with ~1:30 left? I don't think I've ever seen that before

Let's go 5th OA.

It would be nice to get such a high pick going into the retool and gives us a decent chance to celebrini

Meh. Why bother at this point?

Just play the young guys and get this train wreck over with.

We can all thank Murray Edwards and company for Conroy not being allowed to do his job a few weeks back.

By all reports, we would have sold Markstrom at his absolute highest. And his value is tanking fast. All to try to make a playoff push with 3 NHL caliber defensemen on the roster.

This is the best thing long term for the Flames, but the ownership can never get out of its own way.

He's traded pretty much everyone!

I dont know where this 'Management Meddling' idea even comes from. From what I can see Conroy has Carte Blanche to do as he sees fit.

LOL at those thinking Markstrom’s value will tank based off of how a stretch of meaningless games are played.

I actually thought the Flames would win this one easily after beating the Kings on Saturday. This is a pleasant outcome with most of the other out of town score boards.
