After 82 consecutive days of game reports (80 regular season games, December exhibition game vs Dynamo Riga and the February all-star game), it seems like the right time to respond to something from page 1 of this thread back in March.

Looks like you were right.
Monday will be a day off from the regular game posts and instead have the preview information for the first round of the playoffs from various sources.
Also, there's a highlight video I'll include going back to game 5 of the regular season vs. Los Angeles that just became available.
The regular daily game reports will resume on Tuesday with game 1 of the first round series.

Hats off, BL! Can't believe we wrapped up the regular season. That flew by. Any chance we get a glimpse of those other full game video clips you received?
Also, going back a few game, there was mention of rumors that the Flames were on the verge of signing a big European FA. Was that Pryakhin? Or was there another deal that fell through?
Random Observation: Going over the notes from the Jets game--I did a double take at the name 'Anthony Joseph'. Zero memory of him. Checking out his stats on HockeyDb, it looks like he only played 2 career NHL games and was out of hockey by 93-94. I came into this thread thinking I had everything covered for the 89 season (not just the Flames but the entire league) but man, there have absolutely been a few names that I was just completely stumped on (Bill Watson was another name that came up a few games ago that I had to look up as well).
The only other full game I have is the 10/17/88 game vs LA Kings which is coming today at 1 pm ET / 11 am MT, followed by the playoff preview at 3 pm MT

I was looking up some players from games yesterday too and saw on someone's stats that they played in the RHI. First of all, I totally forgot that existed. That led me down a rabbit hole where I was checking out the players on teams. There were quite a few surprises, current (at the time) NHL'ers played in the league (must have been in the off-season) and then there were retired NHL'ers (at the time) that played. Was fun to go back and check it out.
Some Ronnie Stern sightings here! Always weird to see him in that late 80s era VAN jersey--also didn't realize he had two assists in the first game. I was always a big fan of him during her CGY tenure.
More to come from me on this series. This one is always tough for me to go back to from an emotional standpoint. Look, I was 2 years old when this series played out, so obviously didn't follow hockey then, but since then I've read, watched and reviewed this series countless time--I still get nervous that we loose in game 7 every time I watch the clips. Vancouver played with absolutely nothing to loose here.
Blah, I've stressed myself out just typing this, LOL.
