he golfs right handed...I am disappointed that he doesn't carry his weird handedness over from tennis.

Denis looked like a guy today who just didn't want to be out there on the court. He was tweeting a couple of weeks ago that he wants to get back to Canada, but that would mean quarantining for 14 days which would essentially end his season. That said, Rodionov played a good match and got quite a bit of help from Shapo.

Yikes. Sorry, Shapo. But that performance deserves a "woof".

Minor upset as Garin takes out Stan the Man in three sets. Garin definitely prefers the clay, but he played a whale of a match today and Stan is starting to show some of his 35 years I'm afraid.

If Djokovic wins today he will finish #1 in the world for a record tieing 6th time. Sampras did it amazingly 6 years in a row!

Felix vs. Vasek has been delayed as Rudd and Sinner are embroiled in quite the tussle (Sinner took the opening set in a tie-breaker).

Felix and Vasek have just started their match as Sinner took care of Ruud in straight sets.

Vasek eliminates Felix in straight sets (7-5 7-5). Full value for the win, Pops was sharp and Felix looked like a guy who's a little tired after two deep runs in Germany.

Vasek and Medvedev are warming up as I type. The match is on TSN3 if you're close to a tv.

Okay, Vasek breaks Medvedev and is serving at 4-3 in the opening set.

Vasek plays a terrific first set taking it 6-4. He beat Medvedev earlier this year in Rotterdam indoors, maybe he can do it again?

Gutsy hold there as Vasek saves a handful of break points to stay on serve in set 2.

Vasek appears to be running out of gas (he did have to go through two rounds of qualifying) as Medvedev breaks him early in set 3.
