It will be I'm sure.

BC2 for 7 dollars was... a steal. Even for 15$ that's great. Vietnam has been pretty enjoyable to play. Some of the maps aren't great but I still enjoy it for the most part.

Nothing too crazy in terms of the sales today.

Wings of Prey for $6 today! Think I'll bite on that one. Got the Aliens vs Predators one yesterday, 11 gig file! Was very surprised to see that.

No honorable mentions in today's sales but I bought CS:Source for 5$ (Can't believe I didn't have it - played the regular one for 7 years), and all the older BF2 games. Considering getting the unreal pack for 15$.

I grabbed Dragon's Age Ultimate Edition for $25. I thought that was a pretty sweet deal.

Get back from Christmas, sale is still on, spend $75 on Dragon Age, Arkham Asylum and AC2.

Oblivion and Left 4 Dead 2 are both under $10 today.

Nope, as far as I know AoE is a RTS right?

EU is real time too (with the ability to pause) but you don't deal with tactical combat. You raise armies and move them around, but they do battle autonomously. It's kinda like the total war series without the super in depth combat, just focuses on aquiring territories around the world, colonization and diplomacy.

Not for everyone, but ...I like building empires.

I'm a big fan of the Anno series, so hopefully this game is right up my alley. And if it isn't, it was only $5.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Picked up Oblivion and KOTR last night.

Both as replacements for lost discs/product keys that I have been dying to play for a while.

That is what I really like about Steam. I don't need to worry about keeping track of games, etc and can easily download them, play and uninstall with just an internet connection.

An empire building game, but it focuses more on the economic side of things.

Mafia II for $12.49... and with that, my collection of 3D Vision Ready titles is complete.

Edit: whoops, forgot Civ V.

Try and mod Mafia II for first person view before you play in 3D. It might be more engrossing that way.

I forgot to buy the Stalker pack yesterday but that's fine. It will be on sale again next year. I still haven't finished the original Stalker which I started in 2007.
