Lanny said "####" (s word) twice on the morning show, then had multiple minutes where it sounded like this phone was 4 feet away from him and it was almost unintelligible. Weird interview.

She's not completely terrible, but she definitely doesn't have the voice/polish of a radio personality. It often comes across like they just pulled some random fan off the street to get their opinion.

Rintoul isn't that good either so they make a good pair. I was so happy when Rome left that spot as I could listen to the station again but I'm finding music sounds a lot better than these two. And they're on for what, 3 or 4 hours?

Boy Lanny is definitely sounding like an older gentleman at this point (not counting the phone fiasco). Guess i’m getting old too.
That Rintoul and Surnam show is quite bad. Those two just aren’t polished or knowledgeable enough to carry such a long show. 960 must be losing audience like crazy when they come on.

I agree with the Rintoul and Surnam takes. Really weak show. Vanilla takes on hockey. Don’t seem to play off each other well.

Yep. Once the morning show is done I flip over to Hockey Central on Sportsnet 590 and then after that its NHL Network on Sirius XM or Spotify or silence. Cold, dark silence.

The Vancouver show is terrible, but living out here allows me to get at least a smidge of Flames talk on the radio which is nice even though you can tell it’s an afterthought/throw in during Canucks talk.

Rintoul alone was at least listenable, Surnam sucks and feels completely forced. Rintoul sounds confrontational on most of her takes. I dont understand why he needed a co-host

I also do not understand why they didn’t give that spot to a Calgary person?
Someone like Pinder, Klein or Steinberg so the show is a mix of Vancouver and Calgary? Instead they hire another person in Vancouver who is an Oilers fan.

Or any of the really talented radio personalities laid off by TSN and sportsnet. I completely tune out to 960 after the 9. Unlistenable at this point, wonder how long it lasts
