If we are measuring e-peens, I recommended the TV about 3 posts before yours.

We're not, but as I actually mentioned the TCL 4 and 6 series in this thread last year, you might want to put that malformed Cheeto away.

Is there a market for broken TVs? The reason for the replacement was a toddler took a wooden toy to the screen of the old 1080p Samsung 55”.
Not sure what to do with it now. Should I just take it to Best Buy.

If you want to recycle it, Alberta Electronics Recycling has drop-off spots to take it to. Or just toss it up on Kijiji as a giveaway for parts/repair.

And I've been recommending it to every person who asks for a recommendation since December 2019!

Anyone know good quality HDMI switches?
Cable box, Xbox series X, Nintendo switch, Nintendo retro, snes retro, Chromecast, they start getting used up quickly. Would like a nice clean solution

Get a home theatre receiver with HDMI 2.1 support, which you need to get the most out of your XSX. I can't see any HDMI switches that support HDMI 2.1, they all max out at HDMI 2.0 which will only do 4K/60Hz.

This is a slight thread drift. But there was some smart TV talk earlier, so I drop this question in.
Recommendation on streaming stick or device? Our Apple TV bought the farm, and I'm looking for a replacement.
Everything is pretty much on the table. I've considered the Nvidia Sheild pro for infinite possibilities, but my concern with that is that we'd never use all of the features that make it great.
The new Chromcast with Google TV sound pretty good, but the reportedly leggy choppy interface is a bit of a turnoff for modern tech imo.
I like the sound of the Rokus for the channels where you can compile online streams for viewing. But some of the compatibility issues sound like a bit of a turnoff.
Basically what I'm looking for is:
All available channels ie: Netflix, Amazon, Disney, YouTube etc.
Online on demand TV channels ie: Global, CTV etc for if I can ever convince my wife to cut cable.
Slick interface, as in, not laggy or choppy.
Room for a little fun. Maybe emulators or something.

All the devices you mentioned are pretty equal in the other areas you mentioned, but for any kind of gaming emulator or otherwise there is no equal to the Shield. It also has the best 4K upscaling you can get, so if price isn't the main concern it should be an easy decision

If your tv is a 4K set 65" or larger, you should get a Shield. Doesn't have to be a Shield Pro. The upscaling is worth it.
Other than that, if you have smart home products, it makes sense to get whatever integrates with them - i.e. if you have a bunch of Alexa stuff, the Fire cubes are pretty good (especially if you are like me and can never find a remote when you need it).

It's 2,700 everywhere, Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, etc.

I may have literally bought the last new one from Amazon today :V
They're starting to sell out everywhere now, since the reviews for the C1 are "its the CX, but more expensive". I assume a lot of people are like me, and were just waiting for the C1 reviews.
The real 2021 TV is the G1 with the 10th generation panels, but holy moley it ain't cheap.

I understand the C1 has the new processor, a little more dialled in HDMI 2.1 support.
Also, the Micro LED panels LG just released are supposed to be highly competitive with OLED in image quality. Wanting to see the two side by side hopefully.
I talked with a manager at visions and he said he could get me a smoking deal on a LG CX.
