This is definitely a concern. Game time is Saturday at 215 pm local. They would be wise to fly out of there right after game. Hurricane could directly hit Hong Kong/Shenzhen by midday Sunday.
“As Mangkhut crosses the South China Sea, widespread wind damage will be likely in southern China and around Hong Kong by late in the weekend, especially in coastal locations,” said Douty.
Sustained wind speeds of over 160 km/h (100 mph), with even stronger gusts are likely along the coasts of Guangdong.
Flooding in this area will also be widespread and extend farther inland in southeastern China into early next week."

I'm totally prepared to miss work on Monday due to this game. Flight back scheduled for 2pm on Sunday. We'll see how that goes...
Wouldn't be so bad getting stuck in Shenzhen with other Flames fans and nothing to do but down a few drinks.

They flew on a fancy plane, but I don't believe it was the same one the Nucks used. There's a video from the flight on the Flames website.
