City will now go to CAS obviously and I wouldn't be surprised if they got the sentence reduced to a year. We'll see. But UEFA hammering them like that is a good thing, they must have found a ton of evidence or they wouldn't come out with something hefty like this.

Now Pep can just continue pretending that the CL isn't important in interviews anyway.

That looks pretty good. If Chelsea would just crater and windup in 10th I'd be pretty happy with that outcome!

City are just going to take a page out of The Canadian Pipeline Protesting Playbook and keep this tied up in courts until the end of time.

No problem.

Even if they do it wont matter

Appeals dont stop the penalty anymore, Chelsea's transfer ban was appealed, they still couldnt buy in the summer, it was overturned in december and reduced to 1 window, so they could buy in january

So barring the appeal being held and done in the next few months, they arent in it next season

UEFA will drag their heels as well, so it's no way that happens

They are going to have their appeal heard and decided likely later this year or early next is my guess, and its reduced to 1 year

The fine probably gets reduced as well, because its essentially a 100m dollar fine, from them missing out on CL revenue as well

I’m just in such a foul mood now, just finished watching Villa vs Spurs, best 30 minutes I’ve seen from Aston Villa to start that game, could have been up 3-0, and yet again can’t get points against the top 6, losing in the last 30 seconds of stoppage time. Deserved a point today and after the flames losing 8-4 last night this weekend has just been #### for me for sports.

Yeah I thought Villa played well for the most part today. There were a lot of missed chances both ways today and it basically could've been 7-6 to either team if they were all taken! I think that they are good enough to stay up, but admittedly I have only watched two games from them and a little more this season. I think that once they get McGinn back it should help though.

Really 2/3 Spurs goals were directly mistakes from Villa. They penalty was a bit unlucky because he just didn't catch the ball at all, but it wasn't really a terrible challenge. Obviously that last minute mistake was a bad way to lose. I think that was just fatigue and a lucky bounces to set Son free. Reina made a lot of excellent saves, and didn't have much of a chance on the final goal.

Reina has been the second best Spanish keeper for about 20 years now.

Apparently Harry McGuire can kick a guy in the ball bag and it's ok.

Think thats the first cross I've seen AWB deliver!

Good move by Martial to soften Christensen up with a slap on the nose a few minutes earlier.

I don't get this added on time. Three minutes added on. No stoppages and four played all because the refs are scared to blow time mid attack.

Two very ordinary teams.
