Default [GDT] Boston University @ Providence. 5pmMT 4 Flames prospects. Free internet stream

Pregame writeup courtesy:

Quote:
The sixth-ranked Boston University men's ice hockey team returns to Hockey East play on Friday (Oct. 21) when it travels to Schneider Arena for the first leg of a home-and-home weekend with No. 8/9 Providence.
Quote:
In search of their first 4-0 start since 2001, the Terriers are looking to build on their hot start and keep their perfect record (3-0-0, 1-0-0 HEA) intact. Last weekend, the Terriers swept their games in the Big Ten/Hockey East Challenge, earning a 3-2 comeback win over then-No. 14 Michigan on Saturday after blanking Michigan State, 1-0. Against the Wolverines, junior Matt Lane broke the 2-2 deadlock with 3:10 remaining in regulation.

This is believed to be the first time that the Terriers and Friars have ever met with both teams ranked in the top 10 of the national polls. It nearly happened when the teams met on Feb. 21, 1990, but the day before, BU moved into the Albany Times Union Top 10 poll at the Friars' expense.

Providence enters the home-and-home with a 1-2-1 record, and Friday night's game will be its Hockey East and home opener. The Friars traveled to Ohio State to begin their season and split the weekend with both games decided in overtime. Last weekend, Providence flew to North Dakota, dropping the first decision, 6-1, before skating to a 2-2 draw in the second game thanks to a late goal from junior Nick Saracino.
Players to watch:
Providence:
#10 C Mark Jankowski 1st round pick 2012
(now confirmed will play)

Mark Divver @MarkDivver
Mark Jankowski and Tom Parisi are both in @FriarsHockey lineup tonight vs. BU after missing last weekend with shoulder injuries.

jankowski's line puts on the pressure on Eichels line after an icing and get a good scoring chance.

Eichel on a partial breakaway is stopped by Gillies

Friars dmen look terribad so far, can't hold the line, tripping over nothing, can't even seem to shoot the puck.

Hickey looked like TJ Brodie there carrying the puck into the zone.

BU ties it up 1-1.

Jankowski had lots of nice little plays to keep the puck alive in the offensive end on his last shift.

Gillies has been solid. Screened/Handcuffed on the goal.

1-1 after the 1st period.

Offensively BU had the better chances and at times carried the play in Providence's end

That's exactly who he reminded me of back in July at the Dev camp when I watched him.
