Wasn't able to watch the Utica game till last night (I like that you can watch archived games with AHL live). Wow what a disappointment that was. Tonight I'll be able to watch live.

There's nothing like getting disappointed in real-time.

PP for Addy. I think it was Arnold that got nailed into the boards.

Good to see an early goal. We desperately need to sweep this series and get back on track.

Crap. Tied up 1-1 on the PP.

Ramage is horribly undisciplined.

FFS. 2-1 now for the Amerks about a minute after their last goal. Grigorenko.

I forgot these two teams were the ones where the line brawl broke out.

Thessien made the first and second save but couldn't keep out the third.

on the first one.... Grieg's shot was just a good one.

The lineups as far as I can see (Caged Great, maybe you can help confirm?):

Ferland-Granlund-Reinhart
Baertschi-Knight-Wolf
BVB-Arnold-Elson
Hathaway-Agostino-Tousignant

Kulak-Wotherspoon
Stevenson-Yonkman
Culkin-Ramage

Yonkman just pounded the poop out of Bagnall at the end of the period.

Aliu and Tousignant talking a lot as well. I can't get enough of Tousignant. Anywhere he goes he's hated. Sometimes he doesn't even do anything and he'll get facewashed just because it's him.

That's what i've been seeing.

This has actually been one of their best periods in terms of controlling the play. It's been in the Merks end more than the Flames.

Yeah, not a bad period at all. Hopefully something to build on.

From the four games I've seen of Addy, I love how relentless Arnold is both on the forecheck and backcheck. He's doing it again tonight. Considering he shoots right, there could be a spot for him on Calgary's third or fourth lines as either a center or RW in the coming years. Never hurts having a hard working defensive specialist on the big club.

I like the potential of the Kulak-Wotherspoon pairing. You've got yourself the stay at home guy paired with a mobile puck mover. Wotherspoon is just Wotherspoon. Doesn't look like he's missed a step since his injury. If Kulak can grow into perhaps a Brodie-lite, these two could be a stud pairing in the AHL this season.

I agree, I really am liking both Kulak and Wotherspoon. Each still needs some work (Wotherspoon less so) but they are doing a great job thus far. I wouldn't be shocked if both are on the team in the next year or two.
