I still have "The Pusher" song burnt into my brain: "I provoke simple folk to the smoke, have a toke, get your foot off my cloak!". I still have found memories of getting way too high with friends and crying with laughter at the "Food Pyramid" song.
I always thought this show was done forever since it only appeals to a pretty niche audience, how rare it is for studio system to make good comedies and the show creators (Phil Lord & Chris Miller) have become titans in hollywood (lego movie, jump street, spiderverse). Clone high was also PL & CM first show and at the time it made them the youngest show-runners ever.
e: looks like Ghandi is off the show, a shame because he was the funniest character, but inevitable since he was the reason why the show was cancelled in the first place.
Oh man, I loved this show, super excited. Wish they'd do this with Undergrads, Mission Hill and The Oblongs as well.
Ugly Americans was another good animated sitcom from that same era.
There were some great animated shows between 2000 and 2010. There are still some today, but also a lot that just copy other shows and formats. You have to weed through a lot of trash to find the gems now.

Somewhere in the depths of my storage boxes is a DVD of that first season of Clone High. I'm going hunting tonight.
If you’d like to save some time it’s on HBO.
“I spent all summer on my high fives and my finger snaps”
“What you’re too good to be gay like your old man?”
“You know what hurts the most? This nail in my foot. But what hurts second most is the metaphorical nail in my other foot”
I’m quite excited for my niche and dated references to be understood by an slightly larger portion of the populace. Raise the roof my fellow students, raise it!
