hate this offseason for the Steelers so far. Losing Cam Sutton to Detroit is a huge blow ... replacing him with an old Patrick Peterson is pretty meh. Couldn't bring in an ILB so far either (they couldn't compete for the likes of Edmunds moneywise, but there were options). Now they re-sign Larry Ogunjobi. The DL was another weak spot, but I don't think Ogunjobi's play last season warrants paying him $28.75 over 3 years. Nate Herbig and Damontae Kazee are fine, but those are depth signings and don't really move the needle either.

I wouldn't let players on a 6-11 team make me feel guilty about major changes...all the moves the Raiders have made have made sense. You can say just keep Carr but that doesn't factor money and term on the contract. Raiders are looking to upgrade their line and D which is long overdue.

Eagles releasing Slay, not an awful move. He’s old, makes a boatload of money, and wasn’t great the second half of the season. Sucks but falls squarely in the “it’s a business” bucket. Kept Bradberry and may have the cash to keep Gardner Johnson now. Curse of the second place finish I spose
Love Perine to the Broncos. Payton’s clearly not interested in letting Russ cook and is going run heavy. One of the WR is eventually on the way out too, Sutton’s already cried on social media about wanting to go where he’s wanted

As a Bucs fan I would love this move as the Texans and Bears will be better next season so this move should ensure they will in the running to draft Williams. Bowles may as well start putting out the feelers to teams that may be in the market for a DC in 2024 as Baker is the kiss of death for a head coach.

The telling part about that interview was he mentioned it very clearly that there was 1 player he really wanted to play in the whole league and it didn't happen.
