That one hurts - Thought we had that one in the bag. That Forge goal with two minutes left in injury time hurt. No idea how the play right before that, though, wasn't a Cavs free kick - one of our players (can't remember who) was absolutely bodychecked from behind while entering down Forge's right side. You can't not call contact like that.

Nut punch is a good way to describe that game.

Felt like Cavalry played chicken #### football second half and just let Forge come at them wave after wave. Only solid chance in the second half and Ntignee runs right in front of Cantave as he's about to get a solid strike on net. Has to be smarter than that.

I'm sure Tommy will complain after the quality of officiating as Forge got away with a lot of hard tackles while Cavalry was whistled on every chintzy foul, but we continue to play solid but not good enough to get a win against the best side in the league. End of story.

Post game was strange. Tommy walked right by the supporters after that match and wouldn't look at us. Bekker and Bobby slipped out the back way towards the Officers Club.

The positive is discovering Muta and I have the same taste in shorts. Massive W there.

Very good first half followed by a second half where we couldn't get hold of the ball. My concern is that Forge got stronger as the game went on after playing 4 days ago. I think this game was an example where Forge's depth slowly took the game over.

Overall, despite the fact the tying goal came in a injury time, on the whole, a draw probably flatters us. Carducci was big at times and we just couldn't sustain any possession and create chances in the second half.

I was a little surprised to see Kobza start over Trafford. I like Kobza but can't help but think that, if fully healthy, Trafford offers more all around in that spot. I'm also hoping Daley can grow into a more dynamic role. Right now I see him as a decent replacement for Simmons but I think an International spot demands more than that.

Anyway, I think next weekend will be very interesting against Vancouver. I'm hoping for a statement game at home like the one against Ottawa.

We were ok in the first half, but pretty terrible in the second half. We once again lack the ability to create chances.

We really need to find a way to bring in more talent. Besides Musse and Klomp, we are a team full of very average players.

I hate saying it, but Cavalry were lucky to tie. Just a pitiful second half.

Cavalry has needed to add some offensive firepower for the last 2 years. For whatever reason, Tommy hasn't had any success bringing in any reinforcements to help the team to be more offensively dynamic. Forge and Pacific have way more depth and offensive talent then the other teams in the league this year.

I thought the support and atmosphere was good on Saturday. I also noticed tommy not acknowledge the supporters and that was odd.

Soccer is a fantastic spectator sport, and honestly our brand here in Canada is a bit rough and tumble. Cavalry as an organization does a great game day experience.

This thing is gonna grow I think.

Looking like it should be a decent crowd tomorrow.

Vancouver are a poor team, but Cavalry have already played down to their opponents at home this year when Valour and Halifax came to town.

Just win. That's it.

Does anyone want/need tickets for tomorrow? I’m basically triple booked and won’t make it, and would hate to see mine (3) go to waste!

Wonder if today's game will go ahead with the smoke that just rolled in.

Also, thunderstorms start around 3. It'll definitely be a little touch and go today, I'd imagine.

Last time I recall that air quality was improving, so after saying “we’re monitoring it” in the morning, it was actually really nice by kickoff. Blue skies.

Today I don’t think that a similar improvement is in the cards. I could actually see it getting postponed. Fingers crossed things clear up though.

I feel for the league and the clubs in a situation like this. This isn’t a big money league, so there are a lot of costs that go down the drain.
