Still we have to look at it relative to what other CFL QB's get paid. It's starter money in the CFL and IMO he's very borderline as a starting QB. You can win some games with him but he has a lot of moments where he's not very good. That said I suppose there aren't a lot of great options after maybe Masoli. I feel Harris is serviceable but close to washed up and it's pretty bleak after that. It would be nice to see some young QB's break through as it feels like the CFL is in a down time for QB talent.

Good to see so many Stamps re-signing with the team. There must be a feeling of unfinished business after that semifinal loss.

If Huff can get Moxey and Raheem Wilson to sign on the dotted line before the start of free agency, that would be fantastic.

With things back to normal, a regular offseason, with the ability to judge players with recent videotape, the Stamps will get back to do very well in the offseason because of the contacts and preparation.
Last year was such a crap shoot trying to figure out, CFL players or non CFL players, as to who was good and who regressed physically and mentally in over a year without playing.

For a team that stated they might even exceed the salary cap this season in order to play in the Grey Cup they are hosting, the Riders haven't exactly been lighting it up in the off-season.

Duke will be back in green and white.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have re-signed star receiver Duke Williams to a one-year contract for the 2022 season, per sources.
Williams’ fresh pact will pay him $260,000 in hard money. There were a lot of teams involved with big cash on the table. He had other offers for more dollars — up to $300,000 — but he felt like the Riders can win the Grey Cup which would fulfill his goal of winning a CFL championship.

the Riders are the 3rd best team in the West. and I'd be curious to see what the Elks do before I commit to that. Good luck "Duke" lol.

Elks have brought back Derel Walker who was quite honestly terrible last season.
The Edmonton Elks have signed receiver Derel Walker to a one-year contract extension for the 2022 season, per sources.
The 30-year-old Walker made 44 receptions for 531 yards with zero touchdowns last year with the green and gold — earning $180,000 prorated in 2021. Through 75 games in the CFL, Walker has 406 catches for 5,779 yards and 32 touchdowns while averaging 14.2 yards per catch.

William Powell is heading back to Ottawa.
The Ottawa Redblacks are adding another piece to their already much improved offence, as Saskatchewan Roughriders’ running back William Powell has announced his intention to return to the nation’s capital in CFL free agency with a video on Twitter.

The Riders aren't having a great off season. I expect that Calgary is going to be a lot stronger this year. Winnipeg will be probably the team to beat. The Esks and Lions might not be any damn good.
I'm still not sold on Falaful as a QB. Nice running, but just bad decisions when throwing.
