Our next Star Trek thing is actually a video game, surprisingly. Star Trek: Resurgence is coming out on May 23 after a few delays. If you forgot about this one, it's from ex-Telltale Studios developers and is a game in that same style, moreso focused on making decisions and altering the narrative as you go along than whizz-bang action stuff. It looks a little mid-budget but if the writing holds up it could be a good time, I think that style of game fits the franchise very well. I'll be checking it out.

Last year sometimes IGN had a bunch of Gameplay videos too.
I've been following this one for a while and been looking forward to it.

Give him a 10-episode run...whats the worst that could happen?
I'd love a 10 episode run doing some Forrest Gump stuff with O'Brien showing him present and being the real reason why everything ends up going right.
Picard season 1? Comes up with the solution to stop the android insurrection on Mars. Season 3? Main reason for the Space Dock being able to last so long before falling vs the entire Star Fleet. Prodigy? IDK does something. Present at Voyager's return home and has the plan to destroy the Borg sphere so easily. etc etc.
Maybe like a 'Buddy-Cop' series of Morn and Quark? Going on adventures on the other side of the wormhole?
I'm there for it. Get them a space-dog too!
Each episode will be told in flashback with a narration. They'll start with Morn holding court at Quark's, setting up the story, and as he gets drunker the story will devolve into something completely madcap and nonsensical by the end. Quark will come in and set the tale straight, which ruins Morn's credibility and his audience will wander off to the dabo tables while Quark buys Morn another drink to make amends. End with a joke, repeat formula the following week. It almost writes itself.

I think a better idea is have Morn try and start to tell the story and then get cut off by someone else who starts to tell it instead. Keep with the joke of Morn never stops talking but also that the audience never gets to see or hear him talk.

This would be great!

I really dislike the SNW version of the Enterprise. Its angles are all strange, it has the weird cut out in the saucer, etc.
Of all the re-imaginings I've ever seen of the classic 1701 in decades, this is by far my favorite. It takes the original and keeps it classy and somehow tweaks everything to look modern and clean, like taking a classic Porsche 911 and just making it a modern 911. You can easily accept this is how it has actually looked all along without have to say all of Trek is re-imagined.

But speaking on SNW… Boimler?? What’s going on there? Is this him in the trailer or his dad or grandfather?
No, if it was his dad, he'd be played by Dennis Quaid.
They're wearing the same uniforms as Lower Decks, so it would seem it is the same characters from Lower Decks. I'd guess it's a time travel story, but it could be a holodeck thing too (although, that's always a cheap copout for a crossover).

Yeah, and the original Enterprise didnt have a Holodeck.
I'm thinking its a time travel/paradox episode? Either way...I cannot wait...pump some SNW into my veins!!! 5 more days!

Mariner and Boimler would be going into the holodeck on their ship in the TNGish timeline to watch/role play in a recreation of some important event in the SNW timeline.
