Masvidal came in way more conditioned than his last fight, but it was time to call it a day. He couldn't do anything when on the ground.

Big fight in the featherweight division between Holloway and Allen.

Have to think the winner gets a title shot.

Perfect punch by O'Malley to win the belt.

Fairly nice fights today so far.

Whomever this commentator is though, her voice is ringing in my ears. I don't recall hearing her before but the voice is something else.

That's Laura Sanko, I definitely prefer her over Rogan

Main event - what a massive upset, definitely didn't see Adesanya getting outstruck like that. Strickland fights like a Diaz brother, but smarter

Strickland had perfect balance the entire fight. Really interesting to see him play. I thought Israel would be able to dance around him. I think Israel's gameplan was again to sucker Strickland into coming after him and Israel would be able to counter, which he's done enough times, but Strickland was super disciplined to not get suckered into it. Very disciplined.

As for commentary, I'd take Rogan any day. I can do without all the commentators overreacting to any flurry with the series of random "OH!", but when this person did it, it broke my eardrums. Just too high pitched for me.

Reminder to anyone interested but the main card today starts at 12. Rooting for Volk but I think Islam will be too strong again.

Sucks to see Volk get dusted but having this card done in barely 2 hours was pretty sweet.

These cross over fights never live up to the hype but I am hoping Ngannou can land something interesting. He is an athletic freak with an elite mindset so who knows. Crazy venue for this too

That was unreal... I thought Ngannou won that fight
At least one of the judges scored it for Ngannou

What a story

Is Fury really that good? He's a big guy who can take a hit but I dunno. I've watched a handful of his boxing matches and something about him doesn't seem athletic. Boxing is damn hard though and he's made a hell of a name for himself.

I don’t think that this was a good look for boxing. Sure, Ngannou is a physical specimen and incredible athlete, but should he really be able to hang with Fury? Not only did he not get embarrassed, he won that fight. It just doesn’t say a lot for boxing given the circus and the fact that Fury looked so poor.

Fury is fighting Usyk in Saudi Arabia in December, so short of being knocked out he was never losing a decision, way too much money to be lost if Fury loses. But hey, that was some rather easy money betting Fury live when his odds plummeted to even money in the 8th round, was -1400 at the start.
