Sutter has spent all year making dumb decisions, playing favourites, and refusing to make obvious changes.

The players had a terrible night, but on the whole Sutter has been a huge problem this year and it goes back to that Oilers loss where he also refused to change anything.

I can't wait until Lucic is off this team. No matter what happens Sutter gets him his 10-12 minutes if key ice time.

If they lay an egg this team is obviously done . If they bounce back and show real pride maybe there’s an outside chance they can come out firing after the all star game

As soon as Gaudreau didn't sign Trelieving should have been fired. Tkachuk could have been traded later in the summer by the new GM.

Remember when they didn't know Monahan was hurt last year, so we went into the playoffs $6 mil under the cap? Flames have glaring needs this year, and cap space, but won't make even little moves.

Trelieving should immediately be removed.

This team is woefully unprepared for games. We either say the offence isn’t showing up or the defence is leaving Markstrom out to dry. Eventually this is just the coaches and GMs responsibility. In a perfect world, both are gone in the off season but I have zero faith in that happening. I honestly believe a coaching change could have salvaged this season in early December and at least we could have rode a new coaching bump for the rest of the season and figure it out in the off season.

I’d be shocked if the majority of fans are impressed with Sutter at this point. Don’t know why having an opinion on Sutter’s job security gets the response of being told to shut up.
