Nope. Another soap box for the left's cultural and moral agenda. Except they forgot to make it funny LOL. More important to shoe in buzzwords than get laughs

Noticed the same thing with 'The Mist' miniseries on Netflix too. A bit older, but fits the timeline. Show is supposed to be about a mist that takes over a small town forcing the citizens into a mall where all sorts of tragedy and horror unfolds. Instead the creators got caught up in their agenda, smashing their views and agendas everywhere possible, just forcing it blatantly ahead of the story telling. It's crazy

I got off social media to escape the barking clowns. Turns out, there's no where to run. Can't even watch some ####ing TV without being force-fed social issues along with it. Just call this #### what it is at least... propaganda
You really sound like Theo Fleury.

I do agree that Blockbuster is terrible. Not for the reasons you said. It just wasn't funny. I was hoping for a little edgier humour but it was really bland.

Complains about parking clowns while being a barking clown.

I once had the standard plan, but now have the $5.99 plan with commercials.

Lower quality signal kind of sucks, but I don't mind commercials to save over $10 a month.
With the cost of living, every $10 helps.
If my daughter was a bit older I would have gotten rid of it completely, but the kids programming is really good.

Yeah, I'd take commercials but unfortunately after splurging on a wonderful 4k TV I can't justify losing their 4K, full package price.

This show is the cinematic equivalent of having my fingernails yanked out with pliers.

And I was really looking forward to this show too. I think thats what hurts the most. The anticipation and the subsequent letdown.

I dont think he once mentioned anything about parking clowns.

He might have, but that seems oddly specific enough that I think I'd have remembered it.

Tuned in for Melissa Fumero. Left because she was doing a dollar-store impression of Amy Santiago. But, even with the extra 15 pounds on her I still think she's gorgeous.

Y’all should be watching The Last Blockbuster documentary not a lame Netflix dramedy.

It's one or the other guys; you can't watch a mindless sitcom and a documentary. You must choose one.

You can, but you’re wasting your time with the former.

I win this game only by choosing not to play.

We watched Enola Holmes 2 on the weekend.

A really good PG-13 movie. Better than the first one, I think.

We started this and then realized we didn’t remember the first one at all, so stopped to go back to watch the first Enola Holmes. I’m glad the second won’t let us down.

We watched 1 & 2 back to back on the weekend too. My daughter had seen 1 before but I hadn't.

Thought it was enjoyable, and a nice twist on the traditional Holmes story/characters. Some of the plot points were a bit strained, but having #2 based partially on a true story was a nice touch.

We also watched All Quiet on the Western Front. Incredible movie. My only complaint was a scene at the end, but I could easily overlook it based on the rest of the movie. Never read the book or watched the original, and to be honest, not sure I will watch this one again either. But still one of the best movies I've seen this year.

Enola Holmes

I remember the first one being watchable but entirely forgettable, so I wasn't planning on watching. On your recommendation, maybe I'll ask the kids if they want to give the series a second chance, they will probably have a bit of free time with the long weekend.

LOL right? Person complaining everything is politicized, politicizes bad show by saying it's too politically correct. Maybe that can be a show?

I started watching 1899. I have no idea what I signed up for, I am confused.

About halfway through 1899. It's cool and weird and really well shot, but I think I have to finish it to have a real opinion since it definitely feels like a "greater than the sum of it's parts" type show.

Everything about it screams "FROM THE MAKERS OF DARK" however.

I've seen some recommendations to turn on subtitles for 1899? No idea what that's about, but I'll try it out when I watch it.
