Nothing. It's lots of fun.

You just have to ignore some historical inaccuracies.

I should of said I freaking love the show and no amount of inaccuracies are going to spoil it for me. If the electronic music at times doesn't I don't see how some historical stuff will, but I am genuinely curious what they are. I wouldn't have the foggiest.

I didn't know either until people mentioned the latest season.

Oswald Mosley (Season 5) was a real guy. His rise to power in Peaky Blinders was quite condensed versus real life events.

I watched Dolemite Is My Name, and I thought it was a funny movie. Eddie Murphy and Wesley Snipes were really good. Funnier was that it was based on a real guy. I wish there was more of Eddie Murphy nowadays, because he's still got it. Also has a lot of actors from years past playing roles in the background but you wouldn't know there name but recognize their face and I found that cool.

Haven't watched Tell Me Who I Am yet, but the eight part series Unbelievable was incredible. Both are incredibly heavy topics though, dealing with sexual abuse, Tell Me Who I am sounds very dark, so warnings about the heavy topic.

This kind of true story documentary and series is where Netflix really shines IMO.

As somebody who is a typically a critical fan, this looks better than I expected. Especially Cavill's portrayal of Geralt.

Witcher 3 is my favorite game ever so I'm really, really hoping for the best but given how poor video games have translated to film I'm prepared for the worst. That said given from what I have seen from the trailers the quality looks good and it feels like even at worst it won't be a total bomb like most video game adaptations.

I believe I read that this series is more inspired by the books than the game. Might prevent it from being as bad as most game adaptations.

That's pretty much my opinion too. OK if you need something to watch. Don't run out and watch it though. Meh.

Good point although being based on novels is no guarantee for greatness.

Another big positive though is that Henry Cavill is a gamer and a huge fan of The Witcher, and he went to great lengths to get the part

Usually when you have actors that invested in a part the end product is pretty good, like Ryan Reynolds and Deadpool. At the very least the Witcher character himself should be top notch

I think it's also the type of series that can translate well to a TV series. Dunno what their actual plan is, but it seems like a world designed for a monster-of-the-week sort of format, ala X-Files or Supernatural, with an overarching story weaved in.

Must watch Echo in the Canyon!!! Music documentary of artists living and working in Laurel Canyon in the 60’s and 70’s. Fantastic!

Henry Cavill is probably the worst actor I've watched. He may as well be reading his lines in everything he does. Something about him says cheese to me that I personally get aggravated just watching him. Perhaps the slight pompous confidence, but also the fact he's not very good at his job. That combo seems to get under my skin.

It felt like it was trying way too hard to appeal to gen z.
I'm a millennial, and I was rolling my eyes with all the dumb slang force-fed into the script.
It is not lit.

The King was pretty good. Although it felt like an episode more than anything. These movies spur a desire to look into the history of these real people so it's a double bit of fun and interest.

Kinda expected to be a bit annoyed with the teen drama side of it. But I really enjoy the narration and framing. I was a fun way to get into the characters heads and expose past events, and I liked most of the villains it took some time but they got to pretty good key motivations for most of them eventually.

I think oddly Saved by the Bell must have been one of the biggest influences of the style of the movie.
