I think you could choose to enter the Supplemental Draft. More players will be available through that process now that we don't have 5th round picks anymore.

In the end it isn’t a huge thing I get it, but it definitely doesn’t feel like an equitable solution. The way I think it should be (and I believe we had discussed this when the rule change had also been proposed) is if a team has an extra 5th, they should get the pick at the end of the 4th round.

Magic beans can grow something. I don’t want to miss out on a Cameron whynot.

Interested teams might actually end up with a better puck going into the supplemental draft, than they would have had with a full 5th round.

Yeah I would say the supplemental draft is the way to go.
