Who da thunk Montreal in the final four?

But it’s two minutes to midnight.

Habs in 7... I have a feeling.

Fleury falters playing against Montreal. His hometown sets some voodoo on him.

One of the few NHL trophies the Habs have never won...

I know lots of people hate Vegas but screw it I hope they win now. I know really everybody likes to credit the expansion draft but the rules didn’t get Vegas to this position. Strong management and them just abusing other NHL GMs is what got them here.

If anything they are the gold standard in the NHL along with Tampa.

1) They prove how bad the other GMs are at their jobs with how bad they flubbed up expansion, and with how Vegas seems to win trades.

2) It shows that there is benefit in taking risks, making trades, and not just accepting the status quo.

3) They don’t have their own top 3 pick on the team and never “tanked” or looked at needing to suck for 5 years to be good.

I'm just curious how the banners for the teams winning the semi finals are going to look like.

I wasn't really thinking about it to much but I'm sure teams in the north division were and that's whoever came out of the north would be in the final four.

I'm a little surprised it's the Habs but they have a decent team. And it's because they have game breaking star players like Price, Toffoli, Gallager and Byron even plus that rookie Cole Caufield who set up the winner in OT against the Jets and also scored two big ot goals in the regular season.

A little tough to predict for me since they haven't played each other but should be a good series.

Price will keep it close, but Vegas takes this quite easily in 5

Ultimate ultimate ultimate ultimate sweep would be the best outcome this year. Especially if NYI wins, not Tampa.

Knights in five.

Of course, I said that about the Jets too. So, what do I know.

I could have sworn I just read that the nhl wasn’t awarding conference trophies due the lack of proper conferences this year.
