As Photon mentioned in the first thread, given that there is an entire section of frozen pizzas at most grocery stores, this kinda seems like a big deal?

I suppose other players will step up and fill the void?

I can't really understand how you can't make money in the frozen pizza market?

there will be no void.
As you said there is an entire section of the market. there are so many choices that there isn't a void to be filled.

I'm sure Nestle wasn't losing money, but they probably figured they could maximize their profits by not having the costs of running a frozen meal division.

Nice. It’s been a while but I remember their dessert pizza was tremendous.

The benefit is these pizzas for me is they solve my pizza cravings without ordering way too much pizza from Domino's or wherever.

I'm not saying they're healthy, but at least I don't end up eating 6 large slices of takeout pizza and then have 4 more for breakfast the next day.
Been there too many times...
But every pizza place offers pizza the same size as frozen pizzas.

No normal mortal had a pizza oven so the results were meh. They had a freaky apple pizza though. My family got that once, not great unless you’re one of those apples and cheese kind of people.
Coco Brooks does it. I don't have a proper pizza oven, so it tastes about half as good as buying it cooked from the restaurant. Total waste of money for me, but maybe others are better at replicating pizza cooking from restaurants.

I mean it still tastes better than grocery store frozen, but that doesn't matter when you're paying $10 for a coco crooks frozen.

What kind of a psycho orders those!?

Once you've committed to delivery, there's no way I'm ordering a $7 small pizza with $9 tax/tip/ delivery fees.

Saving the GST seems like kind of a lame reason to do this TBH. I would hope she thought it tasted better her way.

There is a chain in the US called Papa Murphy's that sells fresh, unbaked pizzas. They have thousands of locations so it's serving a need obviously. I don't believe it's much cheaper but there is appeal to picking the time you want to bake it.

They are also purchaseable with food stamps, at least in Oregon. I imagine that's part of who they're serving. Been a while since I bought from them, but I recall them being pretty decent. I take it over something like Pizza Hut for instance.

Generally, now, though, we do Boboli crusts and a whole bunch of toppings at home.
