Onions. Straight up raw. I go through a bag of them every week. My favourite thing for lunch is a whole red or yellow onion between 2 pieces of bread with mayo and salt/pepper. I will also chop one up and add it to my instant noodle. For snacks, I like to cut one up into big chunks and eat them with mustard or hot sauce dip.

When I was young I'd make a triple decker peanut butter, honey and cheddar cheese sandwich. Haven't done it in 25 years though. That's a lotta calories.

Love the red lobster roe (cooked) and liver of lobster, especially freshly cooked.

I had a strong disdain for spam growing up, but wonder if it was because of some off-brand version where it was encased in some kind of gloopy gelatin that was just gross. Spam either fried or in a hot pot is delicious. Well, I mean, it’s no worse than a standard hot dog.

Also speaking of hot pots, I really enjoy fish balls.

As a kid, a friend and I used to make Melba toast "sandwiches" consisting of 2 pieces of Melba toast slathered in mayo, then sprinkled with white sugar & slapped together. The very idea of this now, as an adult, makes me want to hurl.

Another favorite sandwich was raw, chopped up cabbage between 2 pieces of white bread with mayo. Again, as an adult, this makes me nauseated to contemplate. I still like mayo, but not with any of that stuff.

My dad used to make omlettes with Cheeto puffs. I never even tried a bite, but he liked them.

Vegemite, I guess. Although I'm more embarressed for people who don't like it

Toasted poppyseed bagel, butter, Vegemite and apricot jelly - amazing

Toasted poppyseed bagel, butter, gorgonzola, fig jam, and Vegemite - also amazing

All the greasy and almost burnt bits in the frying pan. I’ll spend a minute scraping it all up and eating it off the spatula.

My dad would take the pan that was used to make liver and bacon and use all the grease and bacon bits to make fried bread.

Marmite

I love it

Marmite and really sharp cheddar sandwiches are the bomb

It also makes a great addition to stew and cottage pie amongst other things

This might be grounds for psychological monitoring.

Growing up, I loved ketchup and pepper sandwiches. Haven't had it in 25 years, but I'm sure it's still lip-smacking delicious.

Also used to put ketchup in mac and cheese. Ketchup in mushroom soup (add crackers and it tastes similar to fries with ketchup and gravy).

Ketchup on white rice. Ketchup (instead of soy sauce) fried rice.

Guess I just had a food crush on ketchup.
