I think were still a solid forward away in making 3 solid lines. would luv a forward to play with Tkatchuk and get him off the backlund line lol.

who do you think Tree signs in UFA cause todays draft is all but done..........

I am hoping JVR which will vastly help our asinine power play, thoughts as I dont think were done yet. still may see some 3rd or 4th line change ups

Maybe get Ferland out of Carolina? UFA so his value should be minimal, coming off a good season too. Good western kid as well

From peters interview I got the impression there's a few targets.

Doubt we see any big name, expensive UFA wingers courted by the Flames.

I think he goes hard after Tavares, but if you believe the rumors it sounds like JT already has his list whittled down.

Aside from that I see minor signings on the 1st.

I’m pretty convinced Ryan is one of the signings and ends up as our new Stajan. Bill Peters is a big fan of his for whatever reason.

I’d like to hope for JVR but I think we end up with Grabner who will become Mason Raymond 2.0.

His real next move is hope that there are some great results this year, because he's very much put himself on the line this summer.

Handcuffing the team with a James Neal signing, only to realize Neal produced most of his points on a power play that wasn't already saturated with LHS and was overall not much better than Ferland 5v5 if at all.

Yeah, like Stajan except:

1. He would be cheaper
2. He's a 55% face off guy
3. He's a right hand shot
4. He actually scores goals and chips in offensively

But yeah, other than than that, just like Stajan.
