Default October 15 with six games.

The Tuesday OOT has less games than usual and four Pacific Division teams are in action.

Go Wings, Wild, Yotes, and Canes. Vegas v. Knights - no 3 pointer.

Nick Schmaltz is continuing his excellent play for the Coyotes. He has a goal and an assist tonight and now leads his team in scoring. I think that Strome-Schmaltz trade is going to start looking tremendous for both sides.

3-1 Coyotes.

Coyotes get their first win in Winnipeg since they were the Jets.

Detroit's getting pumped by the Canucks tonight. 5-1 now.

Might see a motivated Wings team in Calgary on Thursday.

Exactly. You never know, regardless of expectations.

Preparation and performance wins in the NHL.

When you get outshot, at one point, 23-3, it doesn't really matter who's in net at the other end. That game shouldn't have even been close, if not for Rittich holding them in and Tkachuk carrying them back to steal a point.

Where does this true north come from? Winnipeg is not even the furthest north team in the NHL both Calgary and Edmonton are further north.

True North Sports and Entertainment is the name of the Jets' ownership group

Sure, but who cheers the name of the ownership group (like during the anthem) or makes slogans out of it? Though I suppose the Canuck's logo is a nod in that direction.

Yay CSEC!!

Odd night in Canada.

Ken Campbell
@THNKenCampbell

Strange night in the NHL. Four of the five Canadian teams that played at home failed to sell out. Winnipeg, Calgary, Vancouver and Montreal below capacity. Toronto sold out. Huge attendance problems in Ottawa. Not good for the NHL when Canadian teams struggle at the gate.
