Five years after the conclusion of the original series, a Breaking Bad movie is in the works from the series’ original creator Vince Gilligan, according to the Albuquerque Journal and Variety.
While it isn’t clear if this new project will be a theatrical release or a TV movie in the same vein as those recently announced for The Walking Dead, another AMC show, the Albuquerque Journal reports that the film is using the production title Greenbrier and will follow “the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom.”
Runs into Gene at the Cinnabon and wants his money.

They've already put together amazing work on Better Call Saul. I'm hoping we're getting a slightly more action orientated version of that.
