Survivor: Edge of Extinction

The person that came in from extinction island had the huge advantage of sitting on the jury as well. They would have known all the moves, all the resumes' all the alliances. Plus you can bet the people on extinction Island were talking strategy and jury votes.


That to me was a bigger advantage then an Island.


Chris knew that he had to come in with a huge move to win the jury over because they all probably talked about going back into the game without a big move.

I like Lauren, but playing her idol for Chris was a pretty terrible move no one is really talking about.

Credit to Chris for using the jury to influence that move, as dumb as it was. Getting gifted an idol after returning with only 2 votes left is absolutely crazy though. It should only be one idol for each original tribe and one merge idol, with no re-entry after it's played.

Lauren had played the game pretty well up until that tribal. She even realized how dumb it was. I don't know if it was a million dollar mistake, but it ranks right up there.

Was thinking maybe she had the hots for Chris? She did seem a bit young and naive at times.

A younger me did even dumber things to touch the hiney.

I still was kind of shocked at the leering dirty old man viewpoint camera shot of her voting at the final vote.


I mean yeah she's very hot. But that was such a blatant look down her blouse camera angle.

Perhaps one last attempt to salvage a garbage season with a titalizing note. Better her than Reem if it had to be done.

They should have left Reem on extinction island after filming. The world would have been better off without her in it.

The one thing I will say about extinction, Devons sucked in his first stint and was great in his second stint, Chris didn't get much of a first stint but played hard for 3 days . having more guys play like that would be good for the show. I'm not sure if they can find better modes of pulling that kind of game play out people.

Well...that was a boring and dumb end to an uninteresting season. Ah, well.

Hopefully we'll chuck this Exile thing onto the trash pile and be done with it. I much prefer the 'voted out, you are gone' concept. That's the whole point of the show in the first place.

I'm also really tired of all the idols everywhere, and especially the 'idol comes back after being used'. I much prefer a limited number of those as well.

I wouldn't mind seeing Victoria back though, I did like her game.

I'm actually glad Gavin didn't win, even though Chris didn't have to play much. Gavin was just so blah. Decent, but safe playing. Boring, half shut-eye personality. Everything he said and did just seemed monotone and dull, even if his strategy was sound.

So next season looks awful, but the season after could be great. Annoying and silly to have Rob and Sandra if they're just going to get to play again the next time (almost seem like an unfair advantage that they'll get BOH access for a season).

I dunno, a season that full of drama queens/kings, clueless and emotional mouth-running idiots, might be entertaining after all.

The first group would be alright except for Russell. I've had enough of him. Shane Powers definitely needs to come back though.

That second group I'd probably just kill myself though.

Neither tribe has Corinne Kaplan... that seems like a huge oversight.

Yes it could be... but I said the same thing about Game Changers and that ended up being a subpar season.

Hopefully it being all winners reduces the natural inclination for the bigger characters to get targeted early. I really hope Rob get's bounced early. There are only three names on my "Haven't we seen enough of them already?!" list and Rob's is one of them (FTR the other two are Rupert and Russell). I can never get enough of Sandra thou. Please no endless supply of HII, loser island, or twisty mctwist twists... don't #### this up Probst.

I'm legit surprised to see Ethan again. Happy for it but I hope he's not doing against the advise of his doctors.
