Starts to get interesting after this as you move into what I think is the next tier that includes the likes of Parsons, Phillips, Nikolev, Little Z, etc.

I feel like he has elite level ‘puck hunger’. Like MAF does. Does anything to stop it.
Just needs to round out his game and he could be in the big leagues soon.

Matthew Phillips for me. His .58 PPG as an AHL rookie is impressive.

I went Parsons.
No goalie track is ever pot hole free, and the kid has done more to carry elite teams than any player on the list.

I find the lack of depth on the list chat in the last round interesting given the number of players I still find interesting in round five.

Me too. I can't remember the last time I was as intrigued by a lot of the prospects in the Flames's system. There is a tonne of forwards that look like they have legitimate NHL top-six upside. No sure-fire top-line threats like Monahan, Gaudreau and *sigh* Bennett, but I don't recall ever seeing this many players on the list that looked like they could be high-impact NHLers.

Parsons is next for me. He had a couple bad years now, but there were games last season where he also looked like an all-world goalie. The skill is definitely there—the question for Parsons is between the ears.

Certainly if you base your vote on potential impact on the team, he's got to be on top just by virtue of his top end being number one starter.

Pettersen second round in a row. Parsons up next. Following that I'm probably going to go with Phillips.
