I’m sad because we copped out and went to Phill’s. Next week it’s Smugglers though!

Going to Phil's is never considered copping out.

I have a strong distaste for Phil's. Those pancakes are just terrible.

I like Phil's. It's nothing fancy, but it's a breakfast place, they aren't supposed to be fancy.

I can't remember the last time I went to a breakfast buffet when it wasn't part of being at a resort or on vacation.

I just don’t like that they don’t have an “everything” breakfast dish.

Like... 2 eggs, bacon, sausages, hashbrowns, toast and pancakes. I ordered the two eggs and 5 sausage thingies, and picked the 3 pancakes option, but then I had to order toast separately and it didn’t have bacon and hashbrowns!

Cowboy breakfast at Humpty’s with a side of pancakes is the kind of think I’m talking about. Or even better, the split decision breakfast at iHop!

Actually... you know who has really good breakfast? Fatburger! They don’t have coffee though, which just kills it for me, but their breakfast is ridiculously good.

I’m sad you let them take you to Phil’s

If you’re the one with the cravings, put your foot down and make Smugglers the destination. If they Don’t agree, they can walk somewhere else while you enjoy all you can eat pancakes

The thing i like about Smugs is that...yeah they have an omelette station or you can have an eggs benny with some bacon...but dont fill up on that entirely and then go back and get a helpin of slow roasted beef that melts in your mouth...cut to your liking. Then to prove you are a glutton...cheesecake!

Interesting. Probably the last place I would have thought of for having breakfast. I have one close to my office, will try that out.

The one in Okotoks does, and according to there menu they do. Maybe it's just the one you go too.

Online menu says they serve coffee...?

I also see a buttered brioche bun used in their sandwiches.... Mmmmmm

Glenn's in Red Deer has a small but very good Sunday breakfast buffet. Worth the drive.

Do the casino buffet brunch at Elbow or Grey Eagle any good?
