Canucks should not be taken lightly here they are rolling now that Tochett has settled in as coach. Flames need to play with confidence and urgency. If they can go on a run and get in it will be very interesting to see what this team could do in the playoffs.

Nashville's loss last night puts them basically in a percentage points tie with the Flames.

Target is still 94 points to get in based on Winnipeg's pace.

Need to go 5-1-1 or better to accomplish that.

Shortly after the Anaheim loss, I got a text that Nephew #5 would be skating the Canucks out for this game. I was so annoyed with the Flames, that I turned down the opportunity to go.

Nothing would make me happier, than to be fraught with regret, for missing the opportunity to witness the Flames move into a position to control their own destiny.

Haven't really watched the Flames over the past month or so other than a few blips here and there. During that time they've slowly shortened the gap and played their best hockey of the season.

Guess I know what I gotta do.
