I mean, he has 9 points in 20 games, that's with being put in and out of the lineup. I don't think it's a stretch at all to project him like that, but just to be cautious, let's say 15 and 40 points. That's Blake Coleman type numbers. I'm really good with that.

Walker and Pelts have been the good news story for the Flames this year.

Duehr might get sent down for the Wranglers playoffs just due to being available and eligible this year, but I feel pretty confident in saying that he is an NHL player going forward from here.

Hathaway is a different type of player, but they both can skate. I don’t like projecting point totals based on crazy small sample sizes and I doubt he can be counted on to be a 13% scorer in the NHL. Reminds me a little of Josh Jooris (who is the poster child for not projecting a players year 1 numbers).
Key for Duehr is continuing to progress obviously. Hard not to like what he has shown so far and would be thrilled with the guy if he can take a regular spot all season next year.

A right-handed, 6'2" 210 lb. right winger with some speed should get some chances on this roster. That's not to say I see him as being a top six but I have hopes that he'll be a relatively important piece for us.
I like what we've seen from him so far.

If he turns in to a reliable hard hitting 3rd liner with some special teams work that would be awesome!

Absolutely would be a great deal I could see benefiting both parties.

Love this guy, what a find. I bet Sutter loves him too lol. Looks like another Lomberghini to me and Calgary can't let this guy walk to free agency. At his age a multi year deal isn't so risky.

Yep. No issues locking up mid Twenties guys.

All I can get

Ideally, the Flames should build up the organization to supply a steady stream of depth players, Hathaway moved on for more money and the team really didn't have a similar player to slot in immediately.
Duehr will get a second contract and hopefully by the time it expires a player like, say Parker Bell, will be ready.

Duehr would look great next to Coleman and Backlund IMO
Huberdeau-Lindholm-Dube
Mangiapane-Kadri-Toffoli
Coleman-Backlund - Duehr
Pelletier - Ruzicka - Coronato
That could be an interesting lineup. Would love to see a young and skilled 4th line instead of the old vets.

Duehr and Stecher are this seasons finds that fill their roles well.
Pelletier and Gilbert look good as well but need a touch more seasoning.
Guessing Wolf and Zary are the next group. Can’t comment on Coronato yet.
The Flames are going to need more of these type guys to step up next year if the cap is going to work.
