Definitely just for children. 7 and 4 year old nephews love it.

I've only seen the first of the 50 shades, but 50 shades looks like an Oscar winner in comparison.
365 is literally unwatchable (at least for me).

Reminds me of a crappy version of most extreme elimination challenge, but the cheesey commentary is really awful, and there isn't really much excitement to be had.

Absolutely Agree - just garbage.

Watched Sicario: Day of the Soldado on Netflix. I had no interest watching this as I assumed there's no topping the masterpiece of the first one. So that's true. This super unnecessary sequel is not as good, but also kind of got a rough ride.
It's not great, but also not bad.
One thing I didn't realize is Ty Sheridan wrote it, which is probably why it holds some weight.
They did a few smart things like only loosely connecting it to the first film and keeping a similar sense of dread.

It's still a sequel that was not needed, but they somehow increased the scope of the world and kept it fairly engaging. Thanos and Benicio also put in strong performances.

I give it a meh out of 5.

Undercover - the Belgian cop show - is surprisingly good. The criminal characters are especially great - superb casting.

100% recommended! There's going to be a season 2 as well. Doesn't matter but I thought it was a Dutch show.

In what is essentially a timed event, so many players from so many teams just standing around watching another member of their team.

Some of the actual ninja warrior athletes would crush these courses in matters of seconds.

Netflix has fired Mel Gibson because of an incident with Winona Ryder in 1995, from the animated sequel, Chicken Run 2.

https://www.tribute.ca/news/mel-gibs...omment-9946645

If I'm not mistaken, during this time period both people were addicts who later sought help. Mel doesn't seem to remember this happening at all, and Winona could be wrong, too.

Since the incident with the police, Mel has sobered up, made amends and spoken up about his views and how there were wrong. This incident being brought up to hurt another actor, at this time, says more about Winona than Mel.

Eh, that happened in 1995 but Mel Gibson has a history of racism and overall ####ty behaviour.

2006: "The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world", asking a police officer: "Are you a Jew?"

2010: Telling an ex-girlfriend on tape:

I'm sure he's sobered up and is a "brand new" person... but at some point I'm fine with hollywood just writing him off entirely.

Pretty sure that story also first appeared like 10 years ago, but nobody listened to her then.

Hollywood was so quick to forgive what by all accounts appears to be a deeply troubled and angry racist.

Mel Gibson isn’t sorry and I’m sure he privately still thinks that way. I believe Winona.

I don't give damn what happens in hollywood, good, bad or ugly, but this sets a stupid precedent for regular citizens seeing this. It may or may not have happened 25 years ago. Whether he said it or not, why should he be held accountable for words he said that long ago? Rape, murder, those major crimes, I get being held accountable for years later, but words, as hurtful as they may be, to lose a job over that long after is ridiculous. While I've never said anything like that, picture yourself an alcoholic going on a rant and in 2045 someone says back in 2020 John said _____, and your employer cans you. What a ridiculous thing that's going on.

I've said/done many things 20-25 years ago in high school/college days that I am not proud of looking back. Thank god there was no social media back then!

I doubt you said anything on that level. I never have and don't know anyone that has. Ever, not even close. Having said that, I'm all for forgiveness if the person is genuine about their regret and wants to be better.

I watched Dark after reading the praise in here and it is now one of my favourite shows. I went back and rewatched the first season immediately after I finished it and picked up on so many details that I missed the first time around. Any show with this many characters can be hard to keep up with early on but it's so cool to see how they all intertwine.

Oh and subs not dubs.

yeah, i always recommend Dark to my friends/family... not sure why more haven't watched...probably the subtitles or complexity scares them, as some prefer just to veg out and be entertained.

Dark isn't a show you can do that, but its so worthwhile.

i am very excited for season 3 as early reviews are popping up now...

sounds like they might have actually stuck the landing
