The most sense is play Wed , and move the Cincy and Bills games next week to Monday or Tues
This equivalent to the entire organization losing a brother and right in front of them.

So much time and energy goes into panning the game.

I'm not sure why that's hard to understand. These guys are shaken listen to the broadcasters voices.

They did crazy amounts of vigorous CPR on him on the field so yes, his heart stopped. Probably from the impact of the hit.

the coaches were right to take their teams to the locker room... this wasn't a 5 min break situation.

^^ the announcers said the NFL was restarting the game in 5 minutes, and then the Cincy coach walked across the field to talk to McDermott and they looked they they agreed to go to the locker room instead of the 5 minutes that was stated by the announcers.
I watched the Greg Moore crash live. That was hard to take as you kind of knew he couldn't survive that.

Always interesting to find out who people really are in these situations.

I can't even imagine wondering about when/if the game.gets finished less than 2 hours into this. It simply does not matter.

Okay, I didn't see it live, so I didn't realize that. I'm just going on the medical reports coming out now.

But honestly, why is he unconscious and intubated? There's something more serious going on here than his heart stopping for a minute, and that's saying something.

If they were doing CPR for 9 minutes, I think perhaps his heart stopped for more than a minute....

I was impressed with the Cincy fans. They knew it was a messed up situation and when the Bills team finally left the field they applauded the players. Lots of drink idiots would do stupid things in that situation. Good on them.

Awful to watch because frankly the play was pretty innocent, I kept looking for a head blow or something, and I just didn't see it. When you see a player collapse like that you hope and pray that he gets back up. But to see him lying there and seeing the aid administered and seeing the players crying and praying is traumatic.

Things like this do show how toxic the internet is. Its the vaccine some scream. They should get back on the field some others yell. Its sad.

By all accounts He is a good young man. I hope and pray that he pulls through this and we see him up and about.

Shame on the NFL for trying to restart the game, there are more important things then games and playoff positions.

Don't read too much into it, Its not like the players can wait in emergency for word, and if he's in intensive care they won't be able to visit. I think the idea would be to get these players and coaches home to their families and their support system.
