Thoughts, I like my top 6

Duclair, Malkin and Laughton should put up some points and is a nice blend
Stephenson Krejci Poolparty isn't a terrible second line.
Ennis Appleton and Ryan There's some strong checking features here
Cogliano Donato Archibald could be a pine apple

McAvoy and Fowler is a very good pair because of Charlie
Ferraro and Brodie are both very fast and should pass the puck well
Matheson is ok Coghlan is a pretty much rookie

Bob and Reimer is pretty meh.

I'm not great, I'm not terrible. Its like saying, I'm not the good guy, I'm not the bad guy, I'm just the guy.

It's been an aggressive offseason. Still a little worried that I won't be able to score enough.

Posting an update to see what we have after free agency so far. I think it's a balanced lineup that should be able to shut down other teams, just hope we have enough scoring punch. We are using a bit of a different strategy this year. Will look to add a couple more depth forwards or maybe upgrade the 2nd line C position. I think our D is solid and goaltending is OK.

Landeskog (73) - Bergeron (77) – Kucherov (76)
Tkachuk (73)- Jarnkrok (71)- Olofsson (71)
Foligno (69)- McCann (71) - Fast (70)
Hagel (68) - Howden (68) – Nosek (68)

Hamilton (77) - Ekblad (74)
Keith (73) - OEL (73)
Dillon (71) - Jensen (70)
Poolman (67)

Lehner (88)
Vanecek (79)

As it stands without much cap space to work with to improve. Not many hold overs from the cup winning team

Nylander(73)-Eichel (77)-Forsberg(75)
Vrana(73)-Necas(73)-Laine(73)
Hagelin(70)-Hischier(72)-Meier(72)
Kakko(69)-Kerfoot(69)-Tippett(67)

Callups: Newhook(67)

Jones(76)-Dahlin(71)
Subban(71)-Hughes(71)
Holden (70)-Greene(69)
Extras: Byram (68)
Callups:
Valimki (67), Juolevi(66), Bean (65), Seider (66), Harley (65)

Gibson (86)
Hutchinson (79)
Call up: Shesterkin (81)

I like my strength up the middle. 4th line might be a little too young to be effective. I prefer more of a veteran touch down there but have struck out for the most part on free agents. D is also a concern - lack of a strong top partner with Jones.
Back-up may also be a red flag as Shesterkin makes too much $ to be on the roster all time. He'll move up and down when I have guys on IR.

We still expect Kapanen to be gone before the season starts but this is how the lines shape up after bringing Yandle back.

On paper, I'm still waiting for someone to post a team that I can beat.

Pacioretty (74) - Pettersson (76) - Pastrnak (77)
Parise (70) - Eriksson Ek (73) - Kubalik (71)
Zegras (70) - J. Hughes (71) - Comeau (67)
Wagner (66) - Zajac (69) - Nordstrom (66)

Provorov (75) - Theodore (73)
Werenski (74) - Weber (74)
Zaitsev (70) - Benning (67)

MA Fleury (90)
Hart (84)

I like our Centre depth, PK, defense and goaltending. 2nd line could use some more scoring punch, but then again the SIM might like the vets in there.

Either way, it's been fun re-assembling the team again this off-season.

Honestly, I started with worse and ended up with 77 Points last season and 5 points out of a playoff spot. With Andersen in net you might have more points if you can get some sim chemistry. Not saying you should go out and buy big pieces but I like what you have done
