Just curious on fiber vs 5G

Is it easier to blanket with 5G vs trenching fiber?

If you are okay with mind control it’s an excellent solution.

I thought it was for spreading pandemic not mind control, but I guess it can do both. Trigger it, then control the computer chips they inject in you with a “vaccine”.

Good thing my house is lined in tin foil!

They just need to put some signs up saying "Telus' Shame Hole".

Why bother? Telus has no shame. They hate their customers, or at least, act as though they do.

Anyone know how to get the stupid Telus Optik pop-up that shows you your recorded shows and previous watched stuff when you turn your TV on to not show up? It's super annoying and I can't figure it out.

"Haha, stupid customers".... To me if feels like that's Telus' internal slogan.

Shaw had to replace the line to my house. It took them a few years to get out and do it, but they trenched it and I wouldn't even have known they were there if they didn't ring my door bell.

Around the same time Telus had to replace the line to my father-in-law's house. From the alley to the house they dug a trench that could have been used to fight WWI and didn't replace the grass. After a month he just gave up and re-sodded the grass himself.

Telus has been trying to convince us to upgrade and want to go overhead, although all of our incoming cables are currently buried.

Has anyone noticed the TV with Telus is a lot worse lately in terms of getting pixelized and choppy? Wondering if it is the equipment on our end

Telus claims the use of the plus symbol in the Fibre+ marketing campaign is also misleading as it implies its offerings are superior to Telus’ fibre optic services.

The telecom company says it’s suffering irreparable harm and damage to its reputation as a result of Shaw’s ad campaign and is asking for an injunction to put an end to the marketing efforts.
LOL. WHINE! What a waste of time and money. They aren't callnig it fibre to the home, the fibre part is explained here:
https://www.shaw.ca/internet/fibreplus
Quote:
All households have access to incredible speeds, travelling over a 99.9%45 fibre route, on our Fibre+ network.

*45 From receipt of data to its delivery to each customer and vice versa, traffic travels over a route that is 99.9% fibre

What is Fibre+?

Fibre+ is the name of our hybrid fibre coax network that delivers the fastest speeds in Western Canada.35

So what's the problem?

So what's the problem?
The problem is the branding is creating confusion in the marketplace, you know, if you read the article.

But yeah, I get by your signature you think TELUS is awful.

I DO think Telus is aweful. Because they are. They've also been advertising fibre for years when it isn't available to most people. The point is, there is no confusion. They describe exactly what their product is. Fibre+. It's Fibre internet, plus coax.

Telus is having a bit of a hissy fit, and it doesn't serve consumers or investors at all to be having these stupid lawsuits between out telecoms. No one wins. These lawsuits are dumb, and they should be shamed for it. If they don't like it, take it up with the regulator, not our courts.
