Binged Murderville a few days ago. I think it has real potential. The premise is a 30 minute whodunnit, but the main detective (Will Arnett) has a different celebrity partner each episode, and the celebrity has no script. So it's a mix of murder mystery, improv, and a lot of comedy.

To my surprise, while Conan O'Brien was a great guest, I thought Marshawn Lynch and Kumail Nanjiani were the class of season 1. Hoping there will be more seasons to come.

Also Netflix related...

Is anyone else finding this season of Cobra Kai a complete chore? I think we're 3 episodes in and whatever magic it had, it has lost it.

This season is probably the weakest but the last two episodes make up for it.

rather than whodunit, I would describe it as murder mystery theater for the celebrity guest.

Everyone else is doing a semi-scripted improve thing, and the guest plays them-self needing to sus-out the murderer at the end of the episode.

it's good not great, but I do think it has room to improve.

Murderville was great.

The best episode for me was the Kumail Nanjiani one followed by Ken Jeong.

I never played League of Legends, or even really had an idea what the game was about, so you definitely don't need any kind of game knowledge to enjoy.
Out of thanks but I've rewatched this series a few times now just for the soundtrack. I've also only ever played maybe 20 mins of League of Legends so I don't even know anything about the lore. Can't wait for season 2.

Watched the tinder swindler tonight.

Space Force is back for Season 2.

I'm always game for some more John Malkovich.

For such a strong cast, I would have expected this to be a much better show. There is not one thing that I can remember from Season 1. Pretty unremarkable.

I got some cheap laughs out of it.

Got the email too, $16.49 for us. Not surprising, they announced increases in the US a few weeks ago. Doesn’t make it any easier though , one more thing increasing in price and yet another year with stagnant wages.

Everytime I see this thread I make a note to cancel, finally did. I orginally signed up for movies, I have little interest in all the TV shows they're pushing now.

I am loving Crave for the most part, but might switch between Netflix and Stack. I kids like the anime selection on Netflix, but there’s not much that I watch, unless I am region switching and can get Better Call Saul and Rick & Morty as they air.

I thought the brilliance of early Cobra Kai was you were never totally sure who to cheer for. Sometimes you sympathized with Johnny, other times with Daniel, and it made it a really interesting show as a result.

As it's gone on it's trended further and further towards having an obvious villain in a good vs. evil show, peaking now in season 4 with Silver. It's fine and I still enjoy it, but it's also less interesting.

Never sympathize with Daniel. IMO he is by far the worst part of that show.
