The Flames are scheduled to wear the whites one more time this year, on February 17 against the Ducks at home.
The Ducks will be wearing their orange jerseys in that game.

First Line - Skill and Grit. I've liked Mangiapane here but feel like Bennett could click with those two.
Second Line - I think Dube's speed helps open things up for the other two. He's way more comfortable now with how he has to play in the NHL and think this could click.
Third Line - Ryan and Mangiapane have proven chemistry now, and Lucic has been good. Keep it going
Fourth Line - Backlund and Frolik work well together, Rieder and Frolik have looked great together, so maybe you can get Backlund going there.

Flames are creating tons of high quality scoring chances. They just need to start burying some of them. Hopefully they get back on track against the Habs who are playing well right now.

I have to agree with all this. I think Bennett and Tkachuk would work pretty good down low with Lindholm. Backlund is really fighting the puck lately, so let him get some defensive only time on a lower line with Frolik until his offensive game comes back. Dube is definitely on the verge of breaking out in a top 6 role. Mangiapane is a good player and an NHLer, but not a top 6 winger yet. I think he's best suited to the 3rd line and adds some speed in place of Dube.
I think Janko has to sit for a while until someone's game falls off the map.

Love the idea of Bennett on Lindholm's line, and Dube with Gaudreau. The bottom 6 is good as is, or could also switch Frolik and Mangiapane.
Just, for the love of God, put Andersson with Hanifin and Hamonic with Kylington already.

Is Gaudreau-Monahan-Dube good enough defensively? The idea of putting Backlund there was to give defensive help (replacing Lindholm's). Dube will be a good two-way forward, but he's also a rookie.
Are these being recycled from the Heritage Classic? And if so, will these still have the Heritage Classic patches on them? Or will they be stripped off?
Winnipeg took the Heritage Classic patches off their when they wore them again a few weeks back. I'd imagine the Flames do the same but no idea if they sell them that way.

Inquiring minds want to know!!!
Heritage Classic crests would be a one-off. Will these have the Anniversary crest instead?

Hmm. Last year Calgary wore the retro jerseys for Iggy's retirement night, but took off the #12 patches afterwards, and used the jerseys for the rest of the season. They were sold afterwards without the patch.

Good point -- the 40th patch would likely have to be added on as well.

A sensible team with a sensible game worn jersey program would leave the 2-3 remaining Heritage jerseys intact, and use a new set of whites with the 40th patch for the two games.
The Flames are not necessarily sensible in either sense (back to tvp's fact of removing the 12 patch, although I was told Adidas wasn't able to provide another set of retro jerseys which baffles me as well)
I will also be buying one, going to just about any length to secure the #29. Luckily he didn't play outdoors so there will be none of this Heritage patch nonsense to worry about.
