That episode was a little bizarre and a little cool, but it was the rare episode that really focused around Yo-Yo who has become a really good character in the show.
Spoiler!
Now that she doesn't have to come back do we just call her Yo?
I honestly misread that when she said "She didn't have to come back" and used her power to shut down the time drive, I thought she was going to do a suicide play.
Enoch is so great with his dry deliver and the "It didn't work at the end" after telling Deke that he could play the drums.
Nathanial isn't as great of a villain as the ones in the past, because his villainy is so casual. He's not like his brother driving forward Hydra's goal of World Domination for peace, or Hive, or even Talbot or Aida who were all great villains with possibly noble goals. Nathanial is just a jerk, he wants the perks of power with no responsibility of end goal, he's the truest anarchist.
Jiaying coming back was interesting, but isn't there a possibility now of Daisy being erased from the Time Line? She hadn't been born yet, and if Nate erasing her by accident then he can't gain his powers, and my head just exploded.
I kind of loved the interaction of May and Yo-Yo. Jiaying suggesting that May use her new found powers to help Yo-Yo past her trauma, and they have that one minute of meditation followed by a screw that we're going to brawl to do it was great.
Overall a good episode, but a little weird, Phil had very little to do except for the gag of waking him up without legs.

Spoiler!
When they transported to the jet Jiaying said "My daughter is still out there", so it seems Daisy was born already. Which is strange, because it seems we are still in 83-84, but Daisy was born in 88.
I think the writers may have screwed up big time here.

Or Daisy has a sister. I gloomed on the date as well, She was born in 88. They're kind of pushing a connection between Sousa and Daisy as well. We didn't see Calvin who didn't meet her until 1988.
Now because we're in a new time stream, maybe events have changed and we have an older Quake walking around, and Calvin's not the father.
She also doesn't meet and get butchered by Whitehall for another 6 years triggering the events of the Inhuman's war

Apparently, I've seen it, but have absolutely no recollection of it.
Back to the show, isn't the timeline already messed up? Wilfred living longer, Nathaniel living longer, the Inhuman refuge now compromised, Mack's parents dead differently...

Yup the time line is completely messed up now, and they don't do the whole Kelvin alter vers time line here.
So a lot of things might change. Hive might never get to this world. The rise of Hydra might not happen in the same way, where we might not get the events of Winter Soldier. Nathaniel is the key stone.
I still think that we are going to see Grant Ward one more time as well, it just makes sense.
My sense is that the end of this there is going to be a final conclusion to the Shield story, and Coulson finally gets to die permanently.

I'm going to blatantly say that this was one of the top episodes of this entire season. Directed by Elizabeth Henstridge, the pacing and story were well paced and well shot.
Spoiler!
The story line of time displacement leading to destruction has been done lots in other shows, but this one had a real logic to it, especially when Coulson told Daisy to look at the numbers and the finite amount of jumps.
This episode had some great humor in it, the repeated scenes of dealing with Enoch and the programming created by Simmons made me laugh, especially with the casual "Is Deke dead?" at the end of one of the fights.
But just as quickly as they had some great humor supported by great facial expressions and quips, they pull the rug out from under you emotionally as Enoch must sacrifice himself to save the team. Instead of focusing on the frantic preps for the jump to safety, they chose to simply leave Enoch in a room with Daisy and Coulson as they sat with their friend and had a really neat discussion around loneliness and dying, and I have to admit I was sniffling.
Enoch had become one of my favorite side characters in Agents of Shield. When they talked about Coulson as the Heart of the Avengers and Shield, Enouch had great heart, and patience and a certain innocence and nativity that was enduring. But sadly even as he died he told Daisy that this was the last mission for this team, which is an ominous warning for the future.
Even the ending sequence with Malik was a chilling portent as we are seeing the past and the present come together.
Great great episode.

Yep, that was a fantastic episode. Combined everything that's great about how Marvel tells a story.
My complaint about the "daughter is still out there" was resolved as I didn't know Malick's protege is Daisy's sister. At least that's what I think was implied with that final line.

Yeah I reached the same conclusion.
4 episodes left.
I'm not crying, you're crying
Spoiler!
Just a thought that after Enoch talking about the last mission of the team and Coulson's message to Daisy about being a machine and watching his friends dying, is that his last act will be asking the team to permanently shut him off.

Two days post airing, you click on this thread you probably know we are going to be talking about the latest episode. So I can drop the spoiler tags.
To be consistent, the secret that Simmons is forgetting has to be worth multiple lives, because Enoch was willing to kill the entire team to protect it. Daisy's sister might have something to do with it. Maybe she needs to die in a horriable way or she'll end the world or something. However, if the team knew she was Daisy's sister they might try to save her, so they are blocking that info. Or better yet, Daisy has to kill her.
I'm also still curious on how Simmons hasn't aged in the considerable amount of time she had to upgrade zepher, learn time travel, etc. Her being an LMD no longer seems viable.

I still think at the end things revolve around Coulson. He doesn't like being an LMD a machine without a soul.
Maybe it has something to do with Fitz, maybe he can't come back and she just remembered that, maybe he has to sacrifice himself or be killed or get killed.
Maybe, oh oh stupid thought, maybe Jenna pulled an Aida, remember Aida was a Life Model decoy that used evil tech to build herself a body.

Daisy's mom is dead, so can Daisy return to the proper time line.
Her sister is a full blown psycho.
John Garrett back
Simmon's believing that Fitz is dead
Malik has grown on me as a villain after today.
