Calgary SSP Development Listing
The following few posts is the newly revamped Calgary Skyscraperpage Development Listing. This listing has been ongoing for several years now at the Calgary section Skyscraperpage Forum ( Link) and is the result of the combined efforts of several contributors. It serves as a kickoff to the "Calgary Construction" megathread ( Current Thread, we're on version 20).
I'm sure many here are familiar with Skyscraperpage and/or previous versions of this listing. I've recently taken up the task of updating it since the previous author wasn't able to do it anymore.
Anyway, the purpose of this thread is for interest, information sharing and to spark discussion of the projects listed. This thread could be an ongoing thing, or not, whichever. Either way, it's an opportunity to inform those who may only have a passing interest in this stuff, or who don't venture out from CP as far as online forums go. Also, it's an chance for SSPers (active posters and lurkers alike) who are also CPers to out themselves.
So, without further ado, the Calgary SSP Development Listing. Click on spoilers and be warned that there are lots and lots of large images.

Awesome frinkprof, great stuff.
As much as I love the content of Skyscraperpage, I find the layout off it often gives me a head ache. Great thread for Calgarypuck!

I find myself over there once and while, mostly lurking. The current parking debate is getting a bit old, thanks for the work you've done!

Been lurking that site for 6 years or so now. Love the information on developments around town.
Developments that interest me the most right now are Hanson Square, St. John's on 10th, Pixel, Strategic on 4th, and LaCaille on 16th. I like the 4-8 story mixed use developments over giant skyscrapers....

Awesome job Frinkprof!
I have been lurking SSP since the Bow was just a twinkle in Norman Foster's eye. I'm not a member there but I have always wanted to thank you and all the regular posters for your dedication. (and awesome pics.)

Good to see the firm I left doing something exciting! Wish I had the opportunity to work on it.
I thought Poon Mckenzie changed their name.

I lurk as well. The amount of knowledge some of you guys have is unreal. I don't really open my mouth because I have no idea what I am talking about, but I love reading you guys talk about it. I've learned a lot. Shows a whole 'nother side of the city! Thanks for your efforts Frink!

Good idea to bring over some discussion here to a different crowd.
Thanks for all your work on updating the listings!
Today the big news was the Cadillac Fairview talking about moving ahead with their big office project in Eau Claire (where the Maid was). Beautiful project and a big, big investment in downtown.

A few interesting things popping up.
City Center (rendering below) will be starting construction (first step is demolishing the current buildings on site, French Maid, etc.) within the next month.

---------
A possible development for the block between 11th and 12th Avenues and Centre Street and 1st Street East (former Co-op gas site):
Some opinion that this just might be a "placeholder" design to show an approximate scale.
-----
Qualex-Landmark, who already have two developments under construction (Luna on 12th Avenue is wrapping up and Calla on 14th Avenue at 6th Street SW is just getting started) have indicated that their next residential tower project will be at the former Western Canadian graphics site on 10th Avenue and 9th Street yet. No rendering yet. They also have another site in the pipeline for a large residential pair of towers - the current site of Alberta Boots. You can find a concept rendering for this one in the listing. One of the towers could push 50 storeys.

A new website, renderings and name for Oxford's (developer) next office tower, previously referred to as "Centennial 3." It will be called "Eau Claire Tower."
Website: http://www.eauclairetower.com
Some images pulled from the above site:
This is one of the handful of office towers that are speculated to begin construction soon, including City Centre and Eighth Avenue Place II.

I suspect Oxford won't have much of a chore trying to lease this tower.

It's a very nice looking glass box, and another parking lot gone from Eau Claire.

I didn't see it in the Institutional section of Schulich School of Engineering is planning an expansion and a new building. I don't think there's much info out there right not but there is a meeting planned on the 30th of January for it.
This is only rendering I've seen:

Weren't people saying EAP II would be stalled for much longer than this? It'll be a nice little companion to EAP I.
