Team needs to improve its defensive play, lehner is keeping us in way too many games and we still lost. We also couldn’t score which is what should be our strength

What a weird game. We get 60 shots on net but Craig Smith scores all four Detroit goals to beat Buffalo handily. I'm not going to love our goaltending this season.

Well it looks like Murray has won the starting goalie battle. We have been absolutely destroyed with lehtonen in the net and are now 2-0-1 with Murray.

Murray was almost traded last night. Time will tell if we will ride him to start the season or if we are still gonna look into a blockbuster trade.

Bernier had a decent outing as backup but the offence simply couldn't put one past Quick.

Flames unbeaten in regular time this pre-season. Defence is stalwart and goaltending is very strong.
Special teams has also been very good, both PP and PK.
