Yeah. I just think we have seen some good pairings with one mobile guy and one stay at home. Say, Sarich and Gio before people realized how good Gio was.

I expect the Hamonic - Stone pairing to be buried, and when they get the puck, to dump it in a lot

Struggling team comes into a building with one of the weirdest and most well-known losing streaks in sports history.

Of course that’s the narrative.

It's a thing because everyone talks about it, every time.

The constant pre game reminders seep into their heads.

60 min effort be damned.

Flames with another terrible start with an early penalty/goal, taking a full period here and there off..

Can they win in spite of this? That's the question.

Projected lineups from the NHL/ Flames app:

Gaudreau - Backlund - Lindholm
Lucic - Monahan - Bennett
Tkachuk - Ryan - Czarnik
Frolik - Jankowski - Rieder

Gio - Andersson
Brodie - Hanifin
Hamonic - Stone

Talbot
Rittich

Good. Everyone seems way too comfortable out there. I was starting to wonder if Peters has done anything different this season, or if it's just a continuation of last year.

Get off to a good start tonight and see if we can't run all four lines. I'd much prefer this over waiting for the top line to wake up and having everyone else just tread water.

I wondered if last night’s effort was a result of a very easy win against Detroit. The boys thinking “OK, we’re back” and then thinking it’s going to be like that all of the time.

Flames have won 2 of 3...you would think they had lost 5 straight the way everyone is talking

I hear you, but tonight's game is just such a perfect storm of suck:

· The Flames are coming off their worst performance of the season, and possibly their worst game in a calendar year.
· It's the second game of back-to-backs with back up goalie Cam Talbot looking for his first win.
· The Honda Center is a house of horrors.
